She's not even 2 yet, but I feel like she's growing up so fast. She impresses me everyday by how much she can pick up and remembers from the previous days. I mean, I used to work with kids, and I can't remember exactly how much and what they are supposed to learn and when. M loves to learn opposites, and she has been putting together 2-3 words "sentences" lately. She has the best memory I have every seen. Once you tell or show her something, she will remember exactly what you said or what she saw. She does have her days when she doesn't want to do what we want, but for the most part, she is a fantastic listener. She even lets me cook dinner in peace nowadays. Man, I need to stop it right now. Anyhow, she was "playing" with her cousin (he's 6 months now!!), and she was so gentle with him, and was so happy when he smiled at her. Although she hasn't been too thrilled about having to give a lot of her old toys and stuff to him. We brought the activity gym out to play with him, and she laid down underneath to look at the star with the music and lights. But I think M's going to be a fantastic big sister in May. I'm just halfway there....excited, but nervous as well. What an adventure 2009 will be! I'm sort of in a blogging rut lately, and just trying to catch up on reading other people's blogs instead. Sorry if I'm still gone for a little while longer. Hope everyone is having a fantastic year so far!

I know January 1st is almost over for some of you, but Happy New Year! anyway.

Well, since Hubby has another 5-day weekend, it's hard to get stuff done on the laptop. You'll have to wait for our photos from Christmas festivities...but here's a bribe so you will come back later to check out what's been going on over here.



She got some more clips over Christmas to "model". They are fantastic. I think the mom (of one of my sister's students) is almost ready to start up her business soon, so if anyone is interested, I can inquire. I don't even know how much they are because she's given them to us for free to test, and also my sister got the others as gifts. I can do a full review another time, but her clips are much better than others that I've seen and bought for M.

I've eaten way too much these past few days.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas!! We went to see more lights tonight. It took us about 30 minutes to walk through the street...and we were rushing too because people were coming over to our place...or actually they were there already waiting for us. Ooops...
