If you noticed the lack of posts, then perhaps you thought something was up with the editor. Well, you were right! Friday afternoon we lost electricity due to storms. It was restored Saturday, after 20 hours of being out. Then on Sunday, ANOTHER round of storms came and knocked out the power AGAIN. It was restored after about 20 hours.
I'm tired of feeling displaced.
This was not a fun weekend. We stayed with my mother in law, who does not have Internet and had to attempt to use our tablet's hotspot capabilities. But apparently on that side of town the service for that provider isn't the best and I couldn't get anything to load.
So I'm sorry. Mother Nature pushed me to my limits, I was almost crying. Being forced out of your home, with 3 young children, is not fun.
I'm back though, as long as we don't have any more storms.
I am going to extend the June $50 contest until JULY 6TH, so anything submitted and posted up to then will be included because of my weekend downtime!

That string of storms did some crazy damage across the US! I'm so sorry you and your family were affected and are having a tough week. :( Hope everything gets back to normal quickly and that you guys are able to get some rest today!

We had a rough time with the storms, too. Our power was out for over twenty hours, and we didn't have any water until yesterday afternoon. Glad to hear everyone's okay.
