Our Beautiful Daughter, Raine

Well, she showed up on her own. No induction!
And I did it without drugs (well, one shot of morphine to help me work through the early contractions).
6 and a half hours of labour and she made her debut at 12:33 pm, February 21, weighing 7lbs 6oz and 21 inches long.

OMG your daughter is so beautiful! Congratulations =]
She's beautiful!! Congrats momma!! :) And beautiful name, we almost named our youngest Addison Rayne but decided on Addison Elise instead.
I love the name you chose.
Awesome name.
How the hell did you convince them to let you have morphine?
Congratulations though!
Congratulations! I don't want to take the shot when I get pregnant, either. Could you tell me how you felt about it? Do you regret not taking it?
@pHdDaNcEr@xanga - The morphine was a very small dose given in the early stages of active labour. They do not give more than one dose through the couse of the labour. It's completely safe ^_^
@Uireb_Amarth@xanga - I'm assuming you're talking about the epidural. My labour progressed to quickly for it to be a viable option. The Dr. felt that, though I was in a world of pain, there would have been no benefit to the epidural for me. It would have either slowed my natural progress, or robbed me of having as much control over the experience as I did. As hard as it was (not gonna lie, it hurt like hell), I don't regret not having it.
God I wish that they offered you morphine in NZ! Congratulations, she is gorgeous!!
This makes me very happy. Congratulations hun! ^_^
So happy for you, Taylor.
