Has anyone experienced the uncomfortable approach of a man trying to pick you up while you are large and pregnant?
I have on many occasions! When I was 8 months pregnant with my first daughter I would often go walking alone or with my husband and I always had men honking and yelling how sexy I looked! Even with my husband with me!
This pregnancy I stopped at a McDonald's for a smoothie with my husband and our 3 year old. Two teenage guys were literally talking out loud how nice my butt and rack looked and then began to talk about how sexy pregnant women can look.
Also, the other day I was walking from a prenatal appointment to the bus stop and a man pulled over in traffic on a busy street just to tell me how sexy I looked and if I was married! Really?!?!?!
I understand the attraction a Husband/Partner has for the women carrying his child, but anything else kind of surprises me.
Are there any other mommas who have experienced this? Men, do you find pregnancy sexy? If so, why?

haha, No I didn't. And I'm glad. Yikes.
Yes, I have and it was extremely uncomfortable and completely uncalled for!
I was at the mall and I was waiting for my husband to get off work and we would ride home together.
And as I was sitting in the lobby area, this man who worked as a janitor came and talked to me and looked at me like I was a piece of meat and I was very obviously pregnant. It was really gross and creepy! I am glad to know that I am not alone in this. LOL
I had a guy honking at me when I was crossing the street with my hubby around 6 months pregnant...I'm almost stopped to kick his truck lol. I was pretty surprised!
My hubby finds pregnancy sexy in a way because it brings out this confidence in my body that I never had before :)
Yes, when I was pregnant with my first. I got hit on a lot at the hospital where I worked at the time.
I wondered if it was because when you're pregnant, you can't get pregnant. So. And it also means you put out (or at least once LOL!).
I got hit on all the freaking time.. It was quite annoying!! And no I'm not married so I didn't have my SO with me.. It was usually my sisters or my best friend..Talk about really uncomfortable!! Especially with my sisters around... HAHA!!
Uuuch. As a man, I have always had the complete opposite view. I understand a woman's point of view in how they can enjoy being made to feel sexy... but I can't personally view a pregnant woman in an added sexual way; NOT at all because of how they look, but because of the fact that I can't associate sex and well, a baby. It seems wrong to me.... pregnancy, to me, is about a coming baby rather than the woman's body, and mixing the two just doesn't work for me.
At times I have actually been afraid that when I did have a kid, I would find my wife less attractive.... I wouldn't want to, but I'm nervous that would be the case. I'd hate myself for it.
@TheGuyYouD0ntKnow@xanga - Know what'll make you really freaked out? When you have sex with your pregnant SO and the baby moves. LOL!
Haha, I did... they use to say "it was the sexiest thing, to see a woman pregnant" they were always touching my stomach and trying to help me out... mainly friends... but they prefered me not their gfs to be prego...
@sarahsmurfette@xanga - As if I haven't thought of that.... STOP TORMENTING ME!
Yes that use to always happen to my sister a lot. And guys would always ask me if she was single or not. I used to think guys only did it because...you know...there was only one reason why you got pregnant lmao...I still think that is the case though anyway. But its pretty weird seeing pregnant women get hit on by guys.
@TheGuyYouD0ntKnow@xanga - lol My husband said that's how he felt before I first got pregnant and then he became very attracted to me but other women he still like no way they are cute with a baby how is sex involved..
@sarahsmurfette@xanga - lmao!!! yeah that actually freaks me out more then my hubby... haha! It didn't bother me with my first but it does with this one... I think it's because he kicks a lot harder then my daughter did.
Since I've been pregnant I've been up and down with the finding sex appealing thing... My boyfriend can't get off me... I just wish he would bring me a doughnut first haha.
I had one guy stare at me in Walmart while I was clearly pregnant... but then again I think he might have stared at me regardless... and that's another reason why I dislike Walmart lol... plus he was with a lady and his kids... what a douche!
OMG-YES! I swear, I got hit on SO much while I was pregnant, and it amazed me how many guys flat out asked me out. Umm, clearly carrying another mans' baby....
I love pregnant women, theyre bodies are amazing. I guess guys like pregnant women because they cant get them pregnant, lol.
You'd think a woman's obvious pregnancy would be a signal to men that there's a pretty good chance she's not available. No, you can't tell just by looking at her if she's in a relationship with the baby's father, but I'd say it's more likely than not that she is...
@FrequentHandWasher84@xanga - lol the idea of spreading your seed huh? lol
Wasn't this already posted before? >_> I remember commenting on it a week or two ago..
a mans mission is to spread his seed so even tho a woman is already pregnant he knows she is able to carry a child which is a primal turn on.
Well, each to their own.
When I was pregnant with my first, I was a waitress. Yeah, talk about getting hit on. lol When I was 7 or 8 months pregnant, these guys asked me if I wanted to do shots with them. I said, "1. I'm pregnant (clearly), 2. I'm married, 3. I'm at work, and 4. I'm not 21 yet." Then, they proceeded to ask if I wanted to go to a bar with them after work. lol I think some (emphasis on some) men tend to think pregnant = easy.
@MommyMarty22@xanga - I'm hoping the same will be true for my Hubby. He seems to think that it will be an extreme turn off and is afraid of not being attracted to me in that way during pregnancy. I only hope his case is like ya'll's. n_n; Haha I'm worried about getting pregnant one day because my hubby thinks babies are disgusting looking and doesn't find pregnancy attractive from what I've noticed. Pray for me! haha. :) I was talking to him just yesterday about how I'm going to be 26 in a few more weeks, and that means only 4 years away from 30. I'd like to start having kids by no later than the age of 30, preferably. I'd like to be a young mom who doesn't have to worry about the health of my little one as much as older women may have to, you know? He wants to keep open the option for kids, so I was simply letting him know that my biological clock is only ticking for a few more years. LOL He was like "that makes me nervous." He's so worried about being able to afford our expenses and a house and such on his current salary. He is trying to save up so we can move out from under his mom's house. So, hopefully... We'll be out in a year or two, I hope, and then after another year or two we can consider babies an option. :) We shall see!
@akarui_mitsukai@xanga - Yes you never know how it can effect your hubby. I've seen guys so turned off by it. They weren't mean or anything and had a little guilt still.
I'm sure he is just dwelling on the change and responsibility rather then looking at the great gift it can be. A lot of guys I know just freak about the cost of them. Really though as long as you're responsible with your money you'll be good regardless how much you make. Unless you know, you make min wage and work part time. lol Then your kinda on the waiting list.
Good Luck and I hope your hubby comes around for you...
