You're Pretty, Mommy!
Max is a great son. He loves to tell me I'm pretty. It started when I would put on a dress, or anything that wasn't sweats and a T-shirt.
"Mommy. You pretty with your pretty dress."
It has evolved into more descriptive compliments. I think he sees the joy I express when he says that I'm pretty, and he wants to keep seeing me react positively. He has said the following:
Mommy. You pretty with your pretty hair.
Mommy. You pretty with your pretty arms.
Mommy. You pretty with your pretty neck.
Well, one compliment was questionable:
Mommy. You pretty with your pretty hairy legs.
What a sweet boy.
