  • Top Toys for Babies Ages 0-9 Months

With two babies under two, I like to think I know a thing or two when it comes to inexpensive yet totally satisfying toys for babies. These four toys are at the top of our list for our youngest, who at the time of compiling this, is only 7 months old. These toys go everywhere we go, and easy to stash in a diaper bag or stroller.

Check out the list and let us know what toys your baby is loving!

    1. VTech Rhyme & Discover Book - For under $25, this toy is actually entertaining both our 7 month old AND our 19 month old! There are 3 light-up characters along the side, and 7 different nursery rhymes. There's also 4 moveable pieces, but the lights and music and pages that turn are enough for us.

    2. The World of Eric Carle: The Very Hungry Caterpillar Teether Rattle - This one was a gift to the baby, and she immediately fell in love. Squishy body with crinkly paper on the inside and a large green teether on one end keep her happy and quiet. This one goes in the car with us as it doesn't hurt when thrown at siblings. This one is under $10, so a great stocking stuffer for little ones!

    3. Manhattan Toy Winkel - I found this while searching for something the 19 month old could chew on. Turns out, the 7 month old likes to shake it around because of the center rattler! Fine by me! I don't think that I've seen this one in stores, but you can find it for under $15 online.

    4. Baby Einstein Take Along Tunes - For under $10, this was a great little find. Seven different melodies and lights and my kids were happy. It really doesn't take much to entertain my kids, but this is another great one to stash in the car or diaper bag as a surprise for long rides or waiting rooms.

We'll be bringing you more fun shopping guides to help you find the perfect gift, so stay tuned!
