  • Sponsored: Reconnecting With Old Friends

Throughout our life, we will encounter many people. As the years go by, you might find yourself wondering where that long last friend has gone...or you might even try to discover those family members you've never had the chance to connect with.

Next year, my husband will have his 10 year high school reunion. He would tell you that a lot has happened in these past 10 years. He now has 4 children and 1 stepchild, he has served in the military, has lived in Florida, and so much more. He graduated from a class of over 120 students, so it comes as no surprise that no one story is the same. Some have had no children. Many have stayed within the area, yet others have traveled the world. Through it all, my husband has stayed in touch with several classmates via online connections.

For those he's lost touch with and wants to find, there are sites like MyLife.com that make it easier for him to re-connect. It searches various sites like Facebook and other social networks. With most individuals our age being on Facebook, what a great way to connect and stay in touch with that friend you sat by in every Algebra class!

As I've become a mom, I've lost touch with a lot of old friends from high school or that I once worked with. There are several friends I would love the chance to re-connect with as they've moved across the country and started families of their own. There's even a few teachers I would love to get in touch with that inspired me throughout the years.

In what ways have you tried finding your old friends?
