Have you ever heard stories of things a person might collect? Maybe you've had the chance to explore a house of an older relative and have each of these collections explained to you.
One collection I have tried to start probably came from my love of music I inherited from my Grandpa. I LOVE anything Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, and of course, to go with that generation, Marilyn Monroe. While I know many that have much larger collections than I do at the current time, it's something that I would love to gain a large collection.
One of the most quirky collections I've ever heard of was that of my step-grandma's. I never got the chance to meet her but apparently, she loved salt and pepper shakers. She would garage sale looking for shakers and it didn't matter if one or the other was missing, if it was a shaker, it was coming home. My mom's ex-husband would tell stories of her showing off the various ones of the years. Sure enough, you would find a salt and/or pepper shaker throughout the house. If I remember right, my step-grandpa had a wide variety of gold bullion and various coins from the
US Money Reserve. What kid doesn't love checking out things like that? When I think about it, my family all has various things they've collected-
- Husband- Nascar, Wolves
- Mom- Angels, Victorian style pictures, porcelain bells
- Grandma-Owls, Coffee mugs, porcelain bells
- Grandpa-Elvis, Model cars
What things do you or your family collect?

If judging based on the sheer amount we have, we must collect naked Barbies and scratched dvds.
