Is it bad that we don't let them being awake stop us....as long as they are still in their own bedroom? I'm sure they've heard us, in fact when my daughter asked my husband "why did mommy sound like that?" he said, "her back hurt, so I rubbed her back. I gave her a massage and it felt really good."
LOL! Yep. I was feeling good alright. Am I sharing too much?
how is this spot on???? lol.
1. we never wait 3 weeks. i refuse to go longer than a day or two without. 2. i change shirts. 3. toys are cleaned up before bed. 4. we double make sure the kids are asleep before pursuing the deed. :)
so maybe it's spot on for some moms, but definitely not for all moms!
@grizzlybearr@xanga - We make sure they're asleep, too...but I swear they have radar for this. My son in particular wakes up (even when we're being super extra quiet and it's 2:30am). With my first, we did have long dry spells. Now I know better, all that bullcrap people fed me as a new mom, "it'll just come back, relax, your libido will just come back" were all lies. You gotta take control of it and re-claim it.
@sarahsmurfette@xanga - oh i absolutely agree with that. you don't wait for your libido to come back, you bring it back!! i guess we just get lucky (no pun intended XD) when are kids go to their room to sleep they go to their room and sleep. every now and then our son will yell for us but that's about it.
Funny. Luckily, our kids go to bed and stay in their room after 7-7:30. So if we weren't exhausted from the day, we could actually do it. Sometimes sex happens at 4 or 5 in the morning when we wake up and realize that we were horny when we fell asleep.
@sarahsmurfette@xanga - I gotta say that it took years for mine to come back full swing. I did try to force it and it was never very good. It's back with a vengeance now and there's nothing I did to make it start up again, it just did.
This is hilarious
The toys part...maybe. The rest of it no way. I don't understand the point of staying in a dirty shirt. If I got puked on, I cleaned myself and the child up.
@sarahsmurfette@xanga - Have you tried taking it outside so you don't shake the house? lol I know I tend to wake up more to house shaking and wall thumping more than actual noise.
@LupusInvictus@xanga - lol, we carefully moved the bed away from the wall so there is no banging etc. And the mosquitoes and neighbors make outside a no go. HAHAH!
The only thing I have to say to this is "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again" Lol
This is good... the hairy legs part is pretty spot on. Not the three weeks part. THREE WEEKS? How in the... No, just no. I start freaking out if it's been 5 days. And the crusty shirt. Unless the kids are still up and there are still tasks at hand.
