Moms are outraged (as you'll see in the video). There's even a DAD in the video who very quickly says "No" to letting his daughter wear it. In the video they show parents the onesie, in size 18 months to gather their opinions.
We've all seen onesies and shirts that are humorous with little sayings or graphics that usually pertain to filling a diaper, or being as cute as ____, but what about the onesie above? Is it humorous? Offensive? Obviously an 18 month old little girl does not have a say in what she's wearing, so parents are the ones buying this and dressing their daughters.

I think it's super cute! Although at 18 months are a lot of babies still wearing onesies? I mean, I could see this on a young baby brought to the beach who can't really play yet. But toddlers would be more interested in playing in the water so I'd probably put them in a real bathing suit.
sometimes i feel like we try to use our kids for humor. all those onesies with the "sayings" are a bit too much for me. babies are innocent. why put crude sayings on their onesies to get a few laughs? wear it your damn self, lol.
as far as this onesie, i dunno. it could be worse? it doesn't have cleavage. lol. if it had cleavage it'd be a definite NO. i asked my husband what he thought and he said "it's cute. but i wouldn't buy it for emma."I wouldn't buy it
It's tacky, but I don't know why anyone would be outraged. People seriously over-react and need to just worry about their own children when it comes to silly things like this.
I wouldn't buy it, but I don't think it should provoke "outrage". Who really cares if someone dresses their child like that? Focus on your own kids and mind your own business!
The figure is a little bit womanly for my taste for a baby.
It's tacky. I would never put it on my child, but it is not something to freak out over.
I find it tacky and inappropriate for a baby, but don't see why it would cause some to be outraged. I think if you don't like something, don't buy it.
It's cute, I would buy it.
lol Reminds me of those photo things with bodies and holes for you to stick your head in. No more harm than that.
like most have said, definitely tacky but not something to be outraged about
Definitely tasteless to imprint your own sexualization on a child.
I've seen a lot worse; it's kind of funny.
I think its tasteless to put an object of a sexual nature on a child.....adults can make their own decision....but what does this onesie say about the image of a woman, this is just way to sexy for a baby....I wouldn't be outraged. I think its incredibly tacky and would never let my child wear this EVER!!!!! If your going to do this just put ur baby in a bikini....I had a cute yellow polka dot bikini at 6months with a matching hat and I must say from looking at the photos I was rather cute :) Why wouldn't I be it was made for a baby nothing was hanging out I was covered in polka dots and flowers...duh that's always baby style.
I think it's better than if they were to put the baby in an actual bikini.
My baby would look so sexy in that.
I don't personally like it, but I don't think people need cause an 'outrage' over it.
I don't like that people are saying "mind your own business." As a community, what others do and say affects us in one way or another, so to an extent I do think one should be concerned about what the market is selling to their neighbors. We're all living together on this planet, even with our own private homes and properties, so at one point we're all under the same sunlight and influencing one another.
I would not buy it, and I would hope others would not buy it either so that it would quickly fade away into dust of bad fashion choices. If I saw it on someone's baby, I wouldn't laugh at it encouraging the parent to put their child in it again or buy something else as crudely funny.
This was inspired by the shirts for adults, and the cute sayings on other onesies. Ripple effect. It's important to care about and express your feelings about what's going on around you, especially if you oppose it, because if you don't the envelope will continue to be pushed in the wrong direction.
seriously? that is dumb and i don't know why someone would create something like that. poor babies.
@dkjlsf@xanga - I have seen bikinis for babies.
What video?
I wouldn't buy it but it doesn't bother me any. I honestly don't see what people are getting their panties in a bunch about. What's sexed up about it? Have those people ever gone swimming?
It's silly. Not something to shart over. I wouldn't put it on my theoretical children though. Not my tastes.
Some of the sayings you see on babies and small children's clothing is far worse than that. No big deal with that onesie. If a parent doesn't like it don't put it on your child, easy.
@dkjlsf@xanga - They make bikinis for babies and they're adorable. It's before they're sexualized and they have cute little pudgy tummies. My mom put my sisters and I in bikinis til we were 6 or 7, then she found it inappropriate - and I have to agree with her.
No, I think it's just kind of cheesy.
