  • Sponsored: Beat Summer Boredom With VTech!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of VTechKids. All opinions are 100% mine.

With the long days of summer upon us, many moms are being forced to entertain their children and keep them occupied and even learning. For us, summer is the perfect reason to try out new toys and go on adventures. In past years, cars and trucks were all the rage. This year? This year is all about dinosaurs!

VTech has released their brand new Switch & Go Dinos that are the perfect example of a fun AND educational toy. The dinos are perfect for boys! They uniquely morph into vehicles and back again to provide an interactive 2-in-1 play experience.

Our experience was pretty fun, and different. My oldest, who is 7, was interested in the dinosaur facts and the dinosaur noises and actually playing like it WAS a dinosaur. Our 1 year old? He liked when we morphed it into a car, and he was able to take that to his other cars and seamlessly play.

We love toys that make noise, so having both dino and car sounds is a plus. The unique LCD screen let our 7 year old pick out the eyes for the dino, and the driver's face for the car.

What I love about watching my boys play is the look in their eyes. The way a toy can become a part of their world. How THEY become a part of a whole new world revolving around this toy. The imagination, the excitement, the fun - it's contagious!

With the dinos available to Buy today on Amazon for $15.99, I think we might see our little dino world expand. There are three more dinos coming in the fall too, ranging in price from $24.99 to $49.99, just in time for Christmas!

Those are actually pretty cool looking.
I like how you did this a lot better. I knew what this was before I clicked, so it gave me a choice. That feels totally different (better) to me.

My nephew would love these, my son not so much.  I may consider getting one for my nephew for Christmas or his Birthday.

My daughter would've loved these when she was younger. Actually, a lot of my nerdy girl family members would love these. Thank you for the review.

    zap!

Cute, but, you can also buy a PSP-1000 for about $80 which can easily hold 2,000 or more video-games on one chip in addition to having a text reader, comic book reader, video player, music player, and Wi-Fi ability with internet browser.

It doesn't transform from a car into a robot I must admit, but it keeps me satisfied anyways.

Whatever happened to toys like THIS ?
