Pink or Blue? We Shall See!
Hello Baby!
Who are you? Are you a boy or a girl? I'm already 16 weeks pregnant with you and I feel great. Sure its getting harder to get up or move. And sure I get out of breath a lot, especially if I walk a lot. But other then that I feel grade. And sure I have to pee like every hour, but I feel great. I never really had any nausea with you baby. I never vomited or been sick like many women I know, and its a plus. I have been so emotional this week that its driving your daddy crazy. There are moments that I get so irritated with him for no reason what so ever, but he has been a really good sport about. Makes me dinner, wakes up early to make me breakfast, and tries to be there when ever I need him.We are very excited for Thursday, because we are going to find out whether you are a boy or a girl. That also depends whether you allow us to see your baby parts. If you will be sitting on your tiny butt like you did the last time, I don't think the tech will be able to see it, so please show us your baby parts and don't be shy. In a few months I will be seeing those a lot while cleaning your stinky baby poop. With love of course!
I can't wait to find out what's your gender baby, so that daddy and I can go shopping for you. Daddy is finishing his last final for law school on Wednesday so from then on and until you are born he is all mine to help with preparing for your arrival. I have been reading lots of books about what to do and what not to do, and it seems that so far I am doing all the right things! Although my mother pointed out that I have to start preparing my nipples for you to feast on in upcoming months. That requires me pulling and twisting them to make them big enough for you to be able to retrieve your breakfast, lunch, dinner and in between. Sounds weird to me, but I will do anything for you.
Daddy started talking to you already, its so sweat. He goes close to the belly and talks to you. At first he was weird about it a little, but now I think he got the hang of it. Today he was telling you how he is going to make a Judo Olympic champion of you if you are a boy, and a ballerina if you are a girl, but also a Judo Olympic champion. I think it's sweet.
Please baby, show us your baby parts on Thursday, we can't wait to find out who you are!
Love always,
Mama
Baby bump at 16 weeks! You are the size of a green avocado baby! Keep on growing!

I'm 16 weeks too!! Are you doing an elective ultrasound? I just got the okay from my doctor to schedule my anatomy/gender scan...but I have to wait till I'm at least 19 weeks. :( We are so anxious!
Congrats on the baby!
Congrats, and hope that baby co-operates for you! We just had our anatomy ultrasound a few weeks ago, and I thought the week before it was the slowest, longest week EVER! I had a little orange juice before the appointment with the hopes that the baby would scoot around a bit- and she did! Good luck at your appointment!!
I am actually 21 weeks already this post was delayed a bit =P We found out the baby is a BOY! We are super excited! Congrats to you both!
Oh, I didn't even read that nipple part- that is 100% unnecessary and just really painful- don't do it!!! For me, after breastfeeding I just expressed a little extra with my hand to put in my nipples if they were cracked at all. There are also creams and stuff you can buy, but you definitely do no have to torture yourself while pregnant- it's not helpful!
Congrats on having a boy! My son is 3 and I have LOVED having a boy. I bet we're due right around the same time, I'm also 21 weeks, hope you do an update when he's born :)
Thanks ladies! The nipple thing sounded weird too lol
Im due October 22 =))@pinkdiffusion@xanga - I'm the 21st! How fun. Definitely do your birth story later!
@vlinder_farfalla@xanga - I will =)))) you too!
I am 19 weeks and I found out yesterday I am having a girl!! Congrats!!
Please don't bash your kid with gender roles. We're in 2012. Pink is not girl and blue is not boy. Your kid may like pink even if he is a boy and he shouldn't have to feel bad about it, but he will hide it if he's raised to believe it's wrong for him to like "girl things", like sharing feelings and being vulnerable. It's not healthy.
