Planning A Family Road Trip This Summer?
This post brought to you by PA Tourism. All opinions are 100% mine.
We LOVE going on roadtrips. In fact, we just took a mini one this weekend so we could go shopping and to the zoo. We had fun - and I won't lie, there were some rough spots, but it was fun. It was great to create more memories with our family and hopefully we'll continue to do these little trips (and bigger ones!) in the future!
But with three kids, there's a lot of planning that has to happen. Not only is there a TON to pack, but we have to make sure we have snacks, drinks, and all the essentials for diaper changes and spitting up while in the car. And while we're on the road? Where are we going to eat? What will we see? Where should we stay? It's exhausting before we even get on the road!
Well the Roadtrip-a-Matic takes care of that! It takes the biggest headaches and help you smooth everything out to ensure your family has a great trip.
When I was a kid, we took a VERY long roadtrip from the midwest to Pennsylvania. It was boring, it was long, but I still remember bits and pieces of it! What would have been great was if my parents had planned more time for being on the road and to DO more while travelling to our destination. Using the pa-roadtrips Roadtrip-a-Matic would have really helped! The best one for us would have been 'Kidsylvania' - everything planned and mapped out to make sure the kids have fun!
I really need something like this now, just for these little trips. Sure, our GPS is great at searching for the closest fast food or museum, but having a solid plan before we even leave the driveway? Genius!
How many roadtrips have you taken with your family? Do you plan it out or just go by the seat of your pants?
What's the hardest part of a roadtrip with little kids?

Stop it with the ridiculous adverts already.
I LOVE ADVERTISEMENTS. No really. That's exactly what I want to read on Momaroo. Hey, can sarahsmurfette be the editor already?
@sarahsmurfette@xanga - Assistant editor then? Or temporary maybe? Until the editor can come back. I know it must be time-consuming to have a new baby, but advertisements are the worst. I was glad to see your posts up today, intelligent, non-controversial material that's interesting to read!
