Evenflo has issued a safety recall for one of their convertible highchairs. The activity tray on the high chair can unexpectedly detach and allow an unrestrained child to fall, posing a risk of injury to the child.
The highchairs are sold at Toys R Us and Walmart stores nationwide and online at Walmart.com and Wayfair.com between December 2011 and June 2012 for about $40.

Affected models are:
| MODEL NAME | MODEL NUMBER |
| Dottie Lime | 29111259 |
| Dottie Rose | 29111271 |
| Marianna | 29111234 |
Model numbers are located on a label on the lower portion of one of the chairs legs.
Consumers with the recalled highchairs should immediately contact Evenflo for a replacement tray with installation and use instructions.
Consumer Contact: For additional information, please contact the Evenflo at (800) 233-5921 between 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or visit the firms website at

That Evenflo Highchair already looks unsafe. What is that, really flimsy plastic ?

I have one that does the same thing. I bought it at a baby boutique. Mine even looks safer. This looks like it could topple over w/o a baby inside.
