Jessica Simpson bares all, including her baby bump, on the cover of Elle magazine's April edition. She also reveals that her fiance, Eric Johnson, and her are expecting a girl! (Congratulations!). But what's causing a stir is the image above. Is it a publicity stunt? Is it a flashback to the cover that Demi Moore did while pregnant? Is it her simply showing off her beautiful pregnant body and not being afraid?
So we here at Momaroo want to know - would you pose like this for a magazine? Have you done anything similar, like pregnancy boudoir photos?
NO ONE looks that "perfect" while pregnant. If she really wanted to be "brave" she would've left the stretch marks.
Take the crazy amount of photoshop out of it and it would've been great! :P
@Rana0614@xanga - I've had a couple friends that didn't get stretch marks and now look like they've never been pregnant at all! Back to skinny mini, abs and all! I didn't believe it was possible until I witnessed the process! :P
If photoshop was going to be used, (and when is it not?), maybe. lol.
The photoshopping that looks like it was done to the picture, makes me feel like I could not care any less. Just sayin'.
I like it. There's nothing wrong with a naked woman. Society only raises an uproar over naked women when it's not being used as male entertainment. I think she looks beautiful and women should flaunt their baby bump as it's only natural.
She is most likely photoshopped, I mean who isn't these days. That doesn't mean she has stretchmarks though, I know several girls that did not get any. Getting stretch marks depend on several factors and some ladies just luck out.
I'd do it if I had a good body...but no one wants to see a fat naked woman

No, I would not pose like that. I am currently pregnant and will not be documenting my pregnant belly - naked or clothed. It's not beautiful.
I never got stretch marks with my two. And don't kid yourself. This isn't a statement about being happily pregnant and beautiful while being pregnant. It's about making money with her body, just like her father taught her.
I can imagine this being harder without photoshop.
That is great, but I know she doesn't look like that. She was pretty heavy before she got pregnant and probably would not have done a nude shoot, so maybe she is feeling better and more confident now that she is pregnant.
No, I've never posed for a pregnant nude photo, and I never will. Period.
I did nude photos while pregnant with my first for a friend's portfolio and because it was just fun. I absolutely loved it! As long as I am not in the first or last two months of pregnancy, I feel so gorgeous and attractive! This can be done without photoshop also since not every pregnant woman in the world has strentchmarks or cellulite.
How many god damn naked pregnancy shoots are they going to do?
i got some in my panties and bra showing off my bump with my first.. no stretch marks then...
Lol it's funny because when I first saw this cover I was like "After Demi, EVERYONE wants to do preggo photo shoots." Then I had to catch myself and realize that I did a maternity shoot! LOL I loved it and it was so much fun, especially since my BF was involved. I told them not to photoshop as much as possible, though. Luckily, they didn't have to.
All I want to know is, do you think she'll put this cover picture in Baby Girl's baby book?
I plan on doing a fully nude photo shoot if/ when I have children.
But then again, I am a semi-professional nude model, so I guess it isn't that strange for me..

I didn't and don't think I would. I didn't/don't have stretch marks, but still...eh, I guess it's just personal choice in the end.
I'm pretty sure she did this for the money and the publicity. After all, she is in that kind of business. She is obviously not afraid or she wouldn't have done the shoot and the cover. This type of photography is pretty common. Photographers make a lot of money doing sensitive pregnancy shoots. Pregnant couples have asked me to do sessions for them. With all the controversy over Photoshopping photos, there may be a lot less here than people think. Several photographers have been fired lately for changing images. link1 link2
