To be fair though, the 'what my husband thinks I do' statement is accurate in my case since I have self-entertaining kids that do not tear up the house so I do not have to do much. :)
Too cute! I can so relate!
at least her friends sort of get her
@under_the_carpet@xanga - Right? That's exactly what I was thinking!! "Spot on; your friends get it!"
Heh, I love reading these although I can't relate to them. Surely gives me a good chuckle!
@snarkius@xanga - You lucky thing! Although... it's pretty much me as well, once the cleaning is done. My son isn't yet four months though and will happily sit outside and watch the leaves or lye under his playgym. And if i'm really lucky.. he'll even sleep! :) I'm making the most of it while it lasts though.
Cute photos. I say do what you have to do to survive mentally and physically, and if that means take breaks to do things you'd like to do, then go for it. If you have small ones still taking naps, don't do what I did 35 years ago, and tear through the house like a tornado. Lie down and rest, meditate, read, go outside and sit under a tree, just exist in a slower pace. The house won't go away in that short period of time, trust me.
LOL this is funny :)
I've been seeing these everywhere, but they don't really make sense. Some of the pictures are practically the same... Cute though.
haha
I feel like I do a little bit of everything except get ample amounts of sleep hah
