I wish the school system would put a stop to celebrating holidays in the classroom. Somebody is always excluded, via health problems, or religious situations. Hubby's a teacher, and it breaks his heart to have one student who cannot be a part of the celebration. Valentine's day? A bunch of sugar passed around to the kids, and don't kid yourself, some kids purposefully leave other kids out of their valentine giving.
