Little Chinese Girl Gets Seriously Injured And Ignored
When I saw this...I just couldn't believe it. It's just too shocking to even consider it to be real...but it IS real and it DID happen. It was recorded by the security cameras in the streets that a little girl get's crushed by a truck passing, it practically cut her in half! Here's the link to the video, I warn you it's very graphic and just...tragic: http://www.elnuevodia.com/videos-noticias-ninaatropelladaagonizaymuereantelamiradademuchos-1223270507001.html
In the recording, it was shown how the girls got crushed and just left on the ground like some roadkill. People pass by and see the girl, but they don't help her at all, she's just lying on the floor bleeding to death slowly dying. After a long time of just lying there and dying, a woman is shown in the video that picks her up and takes her to the hospital. Sadly it was too late, the child died.
I wondered, why didn't someone help her out sooner. But then in the article it says that there is a law on helping injured people, if you help someone who is injured, you must pay for the hospital and treatment expenses. So...no one didn't want to help because they didn't want to pay. Another life lost because of money...how typical.
Would you do something about it if you were caught in this situation? Would you ignore someone who's in need of help?

That's horrible!
@lildmonkid@xanga - What is stupid is people find it okay to post videos about other people dying. This was tragic. She was someone's daughter. How would you feel, had this been your child? People are assholes, the people walking by her are assholes. But that doesn't mean that her family wants her to be seen like this. It's disrespectful.
Why do you think China has a billion mile long list of human rights violations? The ruthless leaders do not care who dies. As long as the country makes profits. Of course all the money goes to the government. None to the people.
The only way to free the people is to educate them. Especially the women.
Will this ever happen?
We can only hope.
This happened months ago, and sadly the little girl didn't make it.
This is one of many China's true awful colors. So very, very tragic.
I'm pretty sure something similar happened to one of my uncles as a child. He died. It happens. I mean it was tragic, but that's kind of how life goes sometimes.
@millionofstars@xanga - I'm pretty sure the education system in China is not an issue. There are nine years of compulsory education, which is more than in the US, plus examinations at each key stage. Due to the number of people, it's a highly competitive process. And the women are more and more equal as time goes on. Please don't make assumptions about China just because it's "communist." It's not even real communism anymore.
@vicdaily@xanga - The gov't can be better though. I mean that ridiculous, senseless law should be outlawed. What's wrong with caring for another human being? Why force people to avoid being compassionate just because they don't want to pay? I think the gov't should pay for everybody's health care needs.
But of course they won't.
