Pass The Cheeseburger Please
I'm finding it more and more difficult to restrain myself. When I was pregnant with my daughter (first pregnancy), I gained an astonishing 80 lbs!!! I was a WHALE! It took me a couple years to lose the weight and even still, I never reached my pre-pregnancy weight of 100lbs before trying for baby #2. For this pregnancy, I'm planning for a whole new "me"... especially since my other half said he was wishing I had lost the weight sooner.
I'm trying to keep myself healthy with prenatal yoga and pilates but of course some days are better than others and it gets pushed aside from time to time. As I approach the half way mark in this pregnancy, I'm fighting with myself to continue eating healthy foods. I have myself on a strict weight gain plan and have almost gained 10lbs already. I was hoping to only gain a maximum of 20lbs during this pregnancy but would prefer to keep it at 15. Now that I see the scale jump up 10lbs, it looks as though I'll be gaining a grand total of 2 million. Yay.
I guess it's time for me to concentrate more on my body and the food I'm putting in it. Why did I choose to be pregnant around the holidays again?
Maybe now's the time to look up some weight gain trackers and make the pilates and yoga a regular part of my daily routine.Did you watch what you ate while pregnant or just enjoy yourself? Did you do any exercising during pregnancy (and what was it?)

Sorry I have to use a comment to write you, but I was wondering how you customized your page, like with the banner and everything?
I just ate whatever I wanted. I didn't really have an appetite in the beginning so I actually lost about 10 lbs before I started gaining. I gained about 25 lbs but I also delivered at 33 weeks so It would have been more probably.
"especially since my other half said he was wishing I had lost the weight sooner."
well that's nice, isn't it.
i understand him having a concern for your health, and i'm not going to pretend i know your partner, but this sounds as though he was saying it for the benefit of you looking more 'aesthetically pleasing'.
you're having his children. maybe he should appreciate that rather than making what appear to be, rather nasty comments.
