Man, who has the cash to buy a kid an ipad 2 ?
I remember collecting pogs back in the day.
I remember Power Rangers & Pokemon, of course.
Being a 90's kid after all!
Oh god, Furby - Probably one of the most annoying toys known to man.
Oh how I played with non-mechanized, battery-less toys. There's no way I would get my kid, if I had one that is, an Ipad 2. He gets a box, bubble wrap and a figurine just like I had.
an ipad? people spend that much on one item for Christmas?! Wow rich kids have a nice life!
1981, 1982, 1985, 1986, 1989, 1990, 2006 & 2010. I've these old collections.
who buys their child an ipad?! that's just ridiculous.
@AuCinema@xanga - and frightening. We put ours under our least used couch, and whenever we look for a cat toy under there, we get a horrible scare. WAZEEE WAZEEE.
I remember tamogatchis! I used to have 3 haha! They weren't allowed at school though so my mom had to take them to work with her. I used to cry when they died haha
Haha I remember Pogs and I remember Furby. I'm 19 and I don't even have an iPad and if I did I would buy it myself. I could understand the Elmo (in fact, if I had a kid, he or she would be getting it) or the Leap Pad (I had the older version of it as a child).
Oh hey, I had the rollerblading Barbie...
@asrial86@xanga - Hahaha! Hilarious.
It seems like toys have really gone downhill (aka. they require no imagination to play with them) since '01. Personally, I was a huge fan of Cabbage Patch Kids, Care Bears, the rollerblading Barbie, Koosh balls, and pogs.
I can't believe people buy iPads for their kids. Granted, there are some educational games/apps, but if I were a parent I'd be really uncomfortable with my child having almost unlimited access to online content. It's too much, too soon.
Oh man! I had a collection of pogs! So fun!!! And I was so scared of my furby... though it was going to kill me in my sleep, lol. I still have my tamagotchi and gameboy's in storage somewhere :)
POGs and Tomagochis <3
My 6 year old nephew is getting an ITouch for Christmas... crazy
How to know if you were a spoiled kid: When you go through the list and exclaim "Ooh I remember having one of these!" ...for every year.
Hah. Nostalgia trip <3
