I want to be a _____ when I grow up.
This is a guest post from Lindsay Blogs.
As a child, I had great plans for my future. At different points in time, I was going to be a teacher, a lawyer, a political analyst and a marketing guru. While I am still chasing a few of my childhood dreams, there was one thing that I honestly never thought I would be.
A mom.
I never saw myself as a mother when I was a kid. When I was eight years old and picturing my life in twenty years, I saw a professional woman kicking butt on my own. I didn’t dream of a wedding like most little girls. I didn’t dream of having children or being a mommy. I never saw the white picket fence. I dreamed of how awesome I would be and how great life would be when I was a grown up and doing it all on my own.
Now, my dreams have shifted.

Same!Never wanted to be a mom(and i am not one, I just find these blogs very interesting)
I wanted to be a engineer since I was 5. Not fallowing anyone else's foot steps, none of my family members have ever gone to college. I just wanted to do it.
15years latter I am in college for industrial engineering and life is good.
I wanted to be a mom since I held in my arms my first lil brother, now I am a mom of two gorgeous kids, career speaking I wanted to be an archeologist like Indiana Jones, I'm an anthropologist and teach history in highschool. I'm pretty alright with the way things happend.
Can't say I'd make a good mom, but I'd like to be a dad some day. And an astrophysicist.
when my mom would ask me what I wanted to be, I always said "a mommy"...
I still want to be a mommy someday. I have been married over 6 years. I am 28 years old (turning 29 in February) so, I really think that within the next couple years, I want to try for kids.
I shall wait and see how my husband feels...cause he said that when we move back to the states from Germany (in less than 4 months) that we would start talking about trying for kids...so kind of excited about that conversation...
I never wanted to be a mom until I met my husband. The day we met, all I could think about were babies. Now we've got one.
I wanted to be a Ballerina, but also a mom
