Stand-Up Comedy For Everyone
This post brought to you by American Family Insurance. All opinions are 100% mine.
If you're anything like me, stand-up comedy is a great thing for AFTER putting the kids to bed. It's a late-night affair, not something I'm willing to watch on a weekend when innocent ears can hear the language and references. So if you're like me, and need a laugh during the day when the kids might be home, here's a family-friendly comedy video collection from American Family Insurance called Stand Up For Family.
The videos are great and have topics that mainstream, "popular" comedians aren't covering. For several of them, I was able to relate and remembered the conversations my mom would have about things, like not eating at other people's houses (in the "Momma Talk' video here at AmFam).
No more jokes about cheating girlfriends, or overweight people, or little people. These videos can be appreciated by anyone. I love the focus on family related topics, things that happen at home or things that are said at home. It's a great collection, so take a few minutes to browse and have a good laugh!
Do you know of any family-friendly comedians? Anything you can recommend for those "having a rough day and need a laugh" moments?
