Forget the kid. I want some of those toys for me!
Can I play with the fat brain toys rectangles now?
Doesn't this prove the point that we've gone way over board for holidays? I remember my grandmother always came up with an entire room full of toys for Christmas, and then, all of a sudden, there was a Christmas without that many toys. My brother and I looked at our parents and said, "Is that all?" And, at what age do you stop buying so many gifts? Because teens have different tastes. By the time my kids were teens, I'd called a halt to the expectation of gifts, and they received two large boxes. And one of the boxes had socks and underwear in it for the year.
