  • Rockin’ The Bump? My Bump Rocked Me.

This is a guest post from The Mommyologist.

When you were preggo…were you the “cute pregnant chick?” You know…the one who only gained weight in her belly and still looked Mom Sexy as ever aside from the basketball that had taken up residence on her mid section?

Yeah…that wasn’t me. While there are many pregnant ladies who seriously know how to make a bump look fab…mine looked like a freakin BUMP. And a very large one at that.

My good friend Shell over at Things I Can’t Say is hosting a fun event this week called “Rockin’ The Bump.” She’s encouraging Mom Sexy ladies everywhere to share our cute preggo pics with the world.

The only problem is…I don’t have one of those. We didn’t get a digitial camera until I was past the point of even being able to squeeze into my maternity jeans…so this picture is about the best I can do as far as “Rockin” my bump goes.

    50 pounds of preggo...

    Ain’t she a peach?

    • About Me: I have been a Stay-at-Home-Mom for four years. Settling into my new role as a mother did not happen overnight for me! In fact, I only recently got used to the transition. I went from being a career woman who was constantly hopping on a plane to some exciting city, to my permanent position as a round the clock personal concierge to a pint-sized future comedian disguised as my adorable little son. Motherhood is great, don’t get me wrong, but it’s definitely a lot harder than I thought it would be. I have finally come to love all of the quirks and challenges that make this the best job on the face of the earth, and I really couldn’t be any happier with my life, but that has definitely taken some time!
