Tell Me Tuesdays: In what ways do you think your kids are like you?
All week I have been watching Alana and Jack doing and saying things that makes me see their parents in them. And I've been watching the twins since they were six-months-old. In a couple of months they will be a year and a half. It's been a massive learning and growing curve for them and for me and their parents - for all of the children though I see it in the twins more than the older children.
Maybe because you see the change in babies more. I'm not sure.
Anyway, Ellie looks more like her nana and cousin. She's the spitting image of her nana as a baby. The resemblance is uncanny and amazing. Mikie has his mother's cheeks. Alana and Ellie have their father's patience while Jack and Mikie are more like their mother. Alana and Ellie have their father's red hair, Mikie and Jack have their mother's brown hair.

Olivia is shy, dramatic and dreamy like me. Alex unfortunately has a bad side of me -- holding onto anger at times.
I know that my brother and I are like my dad and my sister is like my mother personality wise. Well, my brother less so than me.
The kids I look after though - The girls take after their dad with their stubbornness and impatience. And the guys take after their mother with their more laid-back personality.
