Don't Rush Me!
My husband told me the other day, "Don't rush me". I just nodded my head. Sure thing, honey. Then today, he was a shining example.
"So, are we all going shopping in our PJ's?".
I quickly got up, found some pants and a shirt and brushed my unwashed hair. Brianna had dumped all her dirty clothes on the floor (she likes to use her hamper for all her toys
). She picked out, of the dirty clothes, a pair of shorts and a dirty white top.I had, already, put on a pair of pants and a shirt and was all prepared to put a coat on her, as it's much chillier today (and raining). Next thing I know, my husband is taking her out the door to get her all strapped in. All I heard him say was "are you sure you don't want to wear pants?"
So, she had, apparently, stripped out of the outfit I had put on her, put on her shorts and dirty white top and my husband did NOT put a coat on her. When I went to get her out of the car seat, at the store, I noticed she wasn't even wearing a coat and her hair wasn't even brushed. I was mad and embarrassed. I'm sure all these onlookers were like, "what is wrong with those parents!" (even though, most Michiganders overdress, in my opinion).
So, while at the store, we picked up an outfit that was more appropriate for the weather. After we checked out, we pulled the cart off to the side and my husband preceded to put her in her new pants and rain coat.
Oh my...
Well, if we weren't so rushed...
Leave it to daddy to take her out when she's a complete mess.Who's always in a hurry in your house?

My SO has learned to not start getting himself or the kids read until I say... otherwise he'll be ready and rushing me 2 seconds after I'm out of the shower. *eye roll*
Yes my husband who is as slow as a sloth will do this on my off days... I wanna hit him because I am usually waiting and waiting calmly...
I seem to be the one that is always in a rush, but that is only since our son was born, it used to be the other way around.
