Made In Vagina?!
Can anyone tell me what that is? If you guessed that it's a novelty onesie, then you guessed correctly.I bought this today with the obvious intention of putting it on my baby. I think it's funny and I thought it'd be fun to put it on her occasionally. Not like she'd wear it every single day or to somewhere like a church (not that we'd ever go there anyway).
It's a novelty, for fun. My son had a novelty onesie that said "daddy's little squirt" and had a few sperm underneath.
It's not like I bought the onesie that said "I'm so F*@!IN' cute" or "All Daddy really wanted was a blowjob", although I would have probably gotten the first one if I felt like spending more money. I mean, vagina isn't a bad word. It's a body part and in most cases, children come out of them during birth. It's not like she OR my son can even read it. And if they could, a vagina isn't a bad thing anyway.
Be open-minded and have a good laugh every once in a while. It's just clothing, not like she's getting it tattooed on her skin forever.
So tell me, would you put this on your baby? Why or why not?

Man, my child is definitely wearing this.
that picture was worth the rec! Where did you find this? I want one
No, no I wouldn't. When I saw this title I knew it would be you
Congratulations on probably being the 2nd momaroo post I've ever commented on.
Oh my, that's adorable. hahah. I've seen a couple that i thought were hilarious for my son, but some might find it offensive. I got him a tshirt that says "my dad can kick your dads ass." It's not horrible or anything, I'll probably go back and get more later=)
Gross. And incorrect.
I think it's hilarious and if I had spawn it would totally be rocking that [or something far worse!].
@NightCometh@xanga - agreed
I'm going to pull a move that my husband always pulls on me to piss me off and be capitain literal here: You know babies are made in the uterus, not the vagina, right? :-p Well, technically the sperm meets the egg in the fallopian tube, so...made in fallopian tube?
"I crawled out of my momma's cootchie"
I'd probably just use a sharpie marker and write my own phrases than buy something.
,..but not really, I don't like clothing with phrases on anybody. I'd likely dress up my future baby in an adorable bumblebee jacket with antennas
Oh my word, this made me laugh out loud. And I just had to read the other onesies to my hubby. I'd never put my kiddo in one of those just because I'd probably really offend a lot of people, but man oh man, I'll be laughing about these for days.
I would have bought that when my kids were itty bitty. Of course the rest of my family would have threatened to call Child Services. When I taught my kids what the name of their body parts were, the family flipped. "Vagina and penis are not bad words, but the actual names of body parts, would you like me to call them p*ssy and c*ck instead"? Lets just say I'm considered a bad parent and should not be allowed to have kids.
Great post
I probably never would, but if my boyfriend and I ever have kids I can totally see myself coming home one day and seeing our kids wearing something completely offensive. Not that this is, but my boyfriend likes to test limits :p
No and I don't see how that is funny. Technically a child is made in the fallopian tubes so the wording on that onesie is comptlely wrong.
Yes. It's adorable and hilarious. I don't see what would be wrong with it. Like maybe if you have kids old enough to read who you haven't explained all that too, might be a bad idea because of the awkwardness of it, and also having your baby wear it around other people's kids who are old enough to read and don't understand it yet, but I would assume that's something you'd consider, so there isn't really anything wrong with it. It's pretty funny, and cute. Especially since "vagina" is not the bad word some people try to act like it is. It's a medically proper term for the female set up, so if it had some slang word for 'vagina', as all the main ones I can think of are vulgar, then yeah, it'd be really inappropriate. But unless your in certain situations, there is nothing wrong with it.
Reminds me of something I saw on DamnYouAutocorrect or something where someone had written they were "from vagina" (instead of Virginia) and then the person said something to the effect of "we all are", and I thought that was hilarious. Didn't know they had onesies like this, though. I love that.
@NightCometh@xanga - Exactly my thought.
The best onesie I ever saw said "pinch me again and I'll slap the wrinkles off your face"
I love it and would so dress my baby up in that lol. It's great.
Probably not, it's not my type of humor.
I think it's really funny
. It is where babies ARE made after all, most of the time
. My children will probabaly hate me for it (if I ever get any) but they will all get "I love mom" shirts haha.
trashy. mommies should act mature around their kids. plus babies arent made in the vagina...
It is kinda funny. I wouldn't put it on my kid, though. I know people would see it and throw a hissy fit and be all judgemental and I just don't need that kind of drama, lol. It is funny, though.
I wouldn't because technically, babies aren't made in the vagina... babies are formed in the uterus... but I have nothing against the shirt.
I wouldn't, partially because I'm a nerd and it'd be borderline sacrilege for me to dress my baby in something with a biologically incorrect slogan on it. Mostly just because it's not my style.
I think this is hilarious and just because you're a mom doesn't mean you can't have fun. Mothers should be fun. I'm glad you at least have a good sense of humor about it. Like you said, you wouldn't put it on her when you go to church or anything. No harm done, right? I defiantly wouldn't mind buying this for my child.
ummm yes i find this hilarious...even if it is incorrect...you get the point...quit being a prude lol
