So the holidays are coming up and we are going to be needing a TON of baby stuff since this is our first baby. I figured we might as well register before Christmas so if people are stumped about what to get us, they can just choose something off the registry. (Baby's not due until the end of April, oh well!)
After doing a little bit of research online I found a couple of recommendations to create a "universal registry" on Amazon.com. I still remember the whole registry process from getting married 3 years ago, and I remember being frustrated about the lack of choices in the stores we registered in- more specifically, the local stores we have that didn't carry everything they had on the web sites.
So, after some thinking and researching, I think we may do a traditional registry at Target and do an online registry at Amazon, too. It seems like a great way to get EVERYTHING we want, and to get the best price and quality for our friends and family who are doing the buying.
Not only can you add anything listed on Amazon, but you can add anything from any other web site (including Target!). The only downfalls are the shipping and convincing my family members who don't like buying online. So here's my question...Where and when did you register for your baby? Would you consider registering online?
