Lord help me. Is it October yet??
The last week or so I haven't been feeling well. I've noticed a definite increase in fatigue, the occasional headache, and the fateful return of morning to mid-day nausea. (All this combined with increased difficulty sleeping- thank you, pregnancy.)
Typically I feel fine when I wake up. I'm always hungry first thing in the morning so I have breakfast as usual (yogurt and a granola bar, whole grain cereal, or fruit). I do fine until a little while after when I start to notice that I'm not feeling well. This is when the nausea hits and fatigue strikes not long after. A couple hours later I find I'm hungry again but still feeling unwell. Eventually the upset stomach wears off but I just can't seem to shake how tired I become.
My first trimester was like this (though nausea lasted much longer through the day) and I'm hoping this isn't what I can expect for my last two months.
Well, my daily 2.3 liters of water will have to wait this morning. Sprite Zero it is.
Is there any particular food or drink that helped any of you through morning sickness? Did you experience third trimester morning sickness?
