Phrase of the Day: MILF

MILF
For those who do not know, the term "MILF" refers to a "Mom I'd like to (to sound classier) have sex with."
How does this term make you mothers feel? (I have no stance on this.) Do you feel prettier with that term or degraded? Do you like the term? Do you use it?

I am indifferent. I don't use the term.
I don't mind my husband using it when no one else is around to hear.
I don't normally use it, neither does anyone around me, so I guess I'm indifferent about it. It's so 10 years ago though that when I hear people say it I think "Really? People still use that?" lol
When I was younger I thought it was insulting. As I get older however, I think, at least they still find me attractive even if they have no social skills to speak of...
Someone called my mom that and it really grossed me out. She's married, I was in high school.. not something you want to hear about your mom haha. Although like @Lady_Kelacy@xanga said I'm sure I'd be fine with that, after I have a baby.. if my husband was saying it to me alone! As for anyone else, no thanksss
MIHF
Not as nice as the former, right?
haha. I'd take it as a compliment.
I think it's pretty funny that it's still being used, since it came from American Pie, and that movie is like..10 years old or something?
Supposedly a lot of those who turned to women are worried about losing their appeal to attract or to attract sex, so its definitely a compliment to those types. I know I am not a mother nor a woman, but I thought I'd dip in.
@mynameisblueskye@xanga - You know.. for the longest time I had no idea what it meant, then that new family guy came on and I was like.
OH! xDDD I don't get why Louis is seen as hot at all. She's annoying. Voice and all.
I've actually been called that. I guess it's a compliment, but I don't really think about it.
I don't think I'd mind my husband using it... but I don't use it, hardly ever hear it and don't really think that much about it.
I've used the term. Doesn't make me feel prettier nor offended. Just a term.
Id be said if someone said I wasnt a milf It een turned into something that basically means hott mom now girls have told me I am a milf and they are not trying to sleep with me I like it its a funny way to compliment a new mom or anymom
I wouldn't necessarily feel degraded, but I wouldn't be flattered either.
i think its kind of funny. i just don't see the appeal, so it amuses me.
It's a compliment if the person saying it is nice. If they are gross, then it's an offense. Just like all compliments. If my husband said "the things I want to do to you!" I'd think it was hilarious and laugh. If a stranger said it, I'd feel totally offended and want to slap a face.
Wow...I always thought it was a drag term for 'Man in Ladies' Frock'...
Given my username it's no secret that I love the term. :P
...so many old people here....what did i step into?
Could there be a list/particular name to go with it?
Lol, no offense to any mothers out there. Er, I don't quite know how to take that term. It seems a little awkward to me, speaking truthfully. But just a little awkward (after all, it'd be a lady who's wearing it...I suppose...). Anyway, I think my mom would be kind of offensed. She would probably feel so since it has...an "inappropriate" word in it.
i dont really get it
As a man, I find it very insulting to women (and especially mothers). My general thinking is this, "Oh really? So you're just thinking about the sex? That's all she's good for? And somehow her being a mom plays into this?"
What absolutely LAME thinking. To objectify moms as sex-worthy...based on what? That they managed to lose their pregnancy weight? What about this? MILTC. Moms I'd like cherish. Forget the sex. If you ain't married to her, you don't have any right inside her pants. So get your mind out of her panties. Because before she is anything to have sex with, she's a person to be respected. THEN she is a mother. And if you're worthy of winning her heart, then she's you're intimate partner.
ANYTHING ELSE other than that and you're playing with a volcano. My money's on the lava generator.
I ignore it. Its just an acronym. I think its ridiculous, but I think a lot of acronyms are ridiculous. But, its not something I'd be proud of if I were using the term or if I were on the receiving end of the term. But, at the same time, it wouldn't offend me. Unless you count the stupidity of it as offensive. Stupidity can offend me. But, the acronym itself doesn't bother me, no matter whom it is applied to. :p By getting all angry about stuff like this, you just give the words/phrases/acronyms more power than they ought to have.
@RachelEliason@xanga - XD I'm the same way!
LOL. I never hard the term until Glee and the Madonna episode used by Puck. I had to google it and i kept laughing my head off......so wrong!!!! its used mostly for peopel over the age of 35 and so forth....if your 19 or 20 dont thing it applys ot you because thats just creepy......
