Sunday Free For All: What is Your Favorite Holiday Movie?

It is Sunday! A day for relaxation or a day for catching up on all we did not have a chance to do all week long! This Sunday is particularly busy for many as the holidays are approaching fast! Before we know it the holidays will be here and gone! Right now, many of us are making plans with family and friends for the holiday season and finishing up any last minute shopping, decorating, baking etc...
We love having you as part of our Momaroo community and we hope you are enjoying the Momaroo experience too. We would like to encourage you to get to know each other and meet more moms and other readers. And to achieve this end, we have Friday, ahem, Sunday Free For Alls.

I like White Christmas too but I think my all time favorite is Home Alone the first one!! The story is just so good... but to leave a kid home alone?? How many parents would actually not miss the poor child?

I'm all about the 'A Christmas Story'. I think it's the only holiday movie I can watch...save, maybe, 'Four Christmases' but that's not really the same, is it?

white christmas and charlie brown christmas are tied for first. :) i also have to watch little women, love actually, and it's a wonderful life every year.

My favorite is An American Christmas Carol starring Henry Winkler. He does a great job portraying the Scrooge character (called Slade in this version of the classic story.)

so many .. but i do love a christmas story. some other favorites are: to grandmother's house we go (nostalgic reasons .. it was my favorite when i was little), the santa clause, and elf.

I love White Christmas, A Christmas Story, Christmas Vacation, Family Man, Santa Clause, It's a Wonderful Life, The Nutcracker, How the Grinch Stole Christmas (cartoon version), A Charlie Brown Christmas, and Home Alone.
I think I have more Christmas movies than any other holiday.

My favorites would have to be A Christmas Story ( who doesn't love that?! ), Home Alone 2: Lost In New York ( I think I am the only person who likes this better than Home Alone 1....mostly because I liked that one as a kid! ), the claymation The Little Drummer Boy, the claymation Rudolph movie, and the Frosty The Snowman movie.

A Christmas Vacation.
haha no doubt about that, that movie is funny as heck. During school in finals week, my US History teacher played that movie haha, couldn't believe that haaha.

I never understood why people like A Christmas Story. Seriously. It's probably one of the worse movies of all times, in terms of acting, story line, production... I could go on :P
But I loved the movie with Rudolph and the snowman that sings. I used to watch it all the time around Christmas time. So nostalgic :)

I don't know. I wonder if I'm one of the only people who think this. But I find the first Die Hard film as a brilliant christmas film...? hahaha. XD
