Celebrity Playground Fun!
Guest post from Baby Bump Blog
MyRegistry.com loves seeing the stars out and about with their children instead of always handing them off to the nanny. Check out the fun these celebs are having swinging and sliding in the park:
Jennifer Garner is a playground veteran thanks to fun-loving Violet!
Camila Alves doesn't let her pregnancy get in the way of having a good time with little Levi.
Little Zuma looks like he's having a blast with a little help from mama Gwen Stefani.Want to build a background playground of your own? Check out this fun gear from Kettler:

I THINK IT WOULD BE A GREAT IDEA TO HAVE A PLAYGROUND FOR MY CHILDREN BUT THATS IF AND WHEN I OWN MY OWN PLACE THEN THAT WOULD BE THE FIRST THING TO GO IN THE BACK YARD. =) LOL
Isn't Violet a little big/old to be in a baby swing? Few things annoy me more on the playground than parents allowing their older children to monopolize the baby swings when they are perfectly capable of using a big kid swing.
We have a swingset but the kids don't use it very often. They prefer to ride their bikes, draw with chalk, etc. We also have 5 playgrounds in our neighborhood that they would rather go to so they can play with other kids.
I haven't talked to my husband about it yet, but we will have at least a swingset in our back yard, I would also like to get them one of those 'clubshouse' type sets that have the slide and swingset attached.
@bubbelcat - I think she's my daughter's age - 3. I don't think that's too old. It all depends on the child, though. Mine has balance/equilibrium issues, which is why we allow her to use the "baby" swings. I wouldn't judge anyone for letting their child use the baby swings (unless they were simply too big to really fit into the swings), because you never know the whole story. Not saying you are judging other parents, but just saying that it's easy to judge any parenting choice when you don't know the story behind it all. And for the record, my 2 year old has been using the "big kid" swings since he was 18 months old, so I guess it all evens out in my family. LOL.
I would love a swing set in my backyard, and hope to be able to purchase one sometime in the future. :)
@Morningstarrising@xanga - You bring up a good point I hadn't considered. Unfortunately what I see is usually the 3.5 - 5 year olds who whine and whine to go in the baby swing until mom finally relents meanwhile I'm there juggling two actual infants who really can't go in a big kid swing (well now they can, sort of, but at the time...). I can't tell you how many times I had both of my twins in one infant swing so that someone's 4 year old could squish into a baby swing.
@bubbelcat - Oh gosh. Yeah, that would be ridiculous. I am grateful that we have a playground right in our neighborhood (even walking distance in warmer weather!), and it doesn't get too much use, so we have never had a problem. But I can understand that from your point of view, too.
@Caged_View@xanga - the clubhouse playground look is adorable!
Cute! It's nice to see them having fun with their kids.
For those of you living in the Northern Virginia area, there's a great, huge playground (2 acres!) in McLean called Clemyjontri Playground: http://www.publicearth.com/places/playgrounds/clemyjontri-playground
