It took me, I believe 6 months to get my tummy back! only because I was lazy but right before I went to Texas to see my husband, I was doing sit-ups everyday so I can get rid of my tummy! it took alot of effort but hey, if you really want to get rid of that tummy, you gotta do whatchu gotsa do!
I've been researching different girdles and "shapers" for days now. With my due date creeping ever closer I'm getting horrified of seeing my body without a baby in it! I've had a neat little 6-pack for years...this'll be interesting. This is my first baby so no tips and tricks for fellow moms to be--when I get there though I'm sure I'll be gushing with how-tos. :P
The first time I was pregnant, I didn't get very big before the baby was born, but I still ended up with a bit of a sag. It wasn't fat, just loose skin, and it only went away after a couple years because I gained a lot of weight. Now I'm pregnant, huge, covered in blood-red stretchmarks, and I am dreading how this beachball's gonna look once it's deflated, especially since I will be VERY busy once I give birth...
its been 10 months and my belly is still not back. it refuses to go back! lol. but thats ok. my husband still loves me:)
I am about to have my baby in January so I don't know how long it will take me, but I would love to have this item to help me along after the baby is born!
It took me 6 or so months to get my stomach back. Oh man I tried everything jergens, bio oil, different type of jergens. The list went on and on. Nothing really helped :[
The saying goes that it's 9 months up, 9 months down, and that pretty much held true for me. Well, not after my first child, because by the time she was 4 months old, I was pregnant with #2. But the weight dropped much faster the second time around (for obvious reasons.... that I didn't have #3 cooking in there....lol). I'm still not at my ideal weight, but I think I may even look better than I did before I was pregnant. :)
I've never had a baby. I recommend Tae Bo tapes though to get back in shape. They really work up a sweat.
I'm still trying to get my pre-baby tummy back! At this point, I doubt I ever will.
When I had my first child I had no problem in getting my tummy back to normal cause I was breastfeeding. But then I had my second child and he is 20 months old now and my stomach is still looking flabby. I wear girdles but they don't do much. Then I was told to try span-x but they are expensive. Every time I wear anything people ask if I am pregnant and I say no I am not. My stomach only goes flat when I am laying down but when I am sitting they look like rolls. And, I don't have time for exercise cause I am so busy. And, don't want to go on a special diet cause I don't stick to it. I would be so happy if I can find something like this in stores but it might be a bit much.
havent had a baby yet..... but when i need to get back in shape, i hit the gym with my guy friends lol. they push me more than going with my girlfriends since they like going to the machines with weights, endurance, shaping, etc.
My baby is just shy of 5 months old, and my tummy still isn't really back to normal. Thus far I have not made any real attempt, (unless you count breastfeeding, as it does help.. lol) but I think I need to add in some kind of workout now. :) I really think that the skin was stretched beyond capacity in the final stretch though (no pun intended!).
my daughter is now 7 months old, and i am still working on getting my pre-pregnancy belly back. i work out daily and i take a one source pure performance vitamin, which helps give you the energy you need to work out, once a day and 500 mg or niacin, which is a metabolism booster
I got most of it back int he first few months with some rigorous exercises, and then let the regime relax and kept the tiny little belly for almost 3 years before acting on it again!! With another one in the making.. now I am really worried!
i never thought i could get rid of this belly pouch since what new mom has the time or energy to exercise? my tummy isn't what it used to be, but after one year (and the past couple of months of chasing after my little boy) i'm back into decent shape. i can still look 5 months pregnant after a big meal, but i'm not complaining.
With my first it took almost about 7-8 months to get back to myself. With my second it was much faster and barely took 3 months. This time I just gave birth to twins as a surrogate two weeks ago and my tummy got quite larger than it ever had, so it will be interesting to see just how long it takes to get the tummy back to normal, if that's even possible now!
I've got a 2 year old and a 6 week old, and I've been all over the internet checking out what my big boy calls "belly squishers".. I never did get all the way back in shape after #1, so I really want to this time! I don't know anybody who's actually used compression, but I'd sure try it!
Right now I'm doing a crazy mix of Tae Bo and Yoga in my spare minutes here and there. So we'll see how it works.
I'm 26 and just gave birth to my 3rd child! I never got my body back after my first child! I've tried everything. I've tried the girdles and shapers, but not much has ultimately worked. I did hula, Tahitian, and Zumba while pregnant, and I almost got my body back. Help me!
Pre-baby belly? I don't think I'll ever have that back. Those stretched out skin marks are there to stay - or sag. It's been almost 2 years. Hopefully I'll be growing back into that skin soon though.
My first baby is due in January, so I don't know how long it will take me to get my pre-baby belly back. But judging on my weight gain, I'd wager it'll take a while because I've gained almost twice what I should have. Something like this would be fantastic though for helping my self-esteem while working to get back to my pre-baby belly. I'm going to be dieting as best I can (with the breastfeeding nutritional requirements, there's only so much I can do with that) and working out with yoga and similar exercises with the WiiFit to try working off the extra tummy-weight.
Eh, took about three weeks for my uterus to shrink back down to normal size and after that my body look exactly the same as it did before i was pregnant. I only gained 25lbs during pregnancy and all i ate was meat, veggies, fruit and rice pretty much. Fried foods made me nauseous and so did most other unhealthy foods. 9lb+ baby and no stretch marks. But im just lucky, i do NOT expect that next time!!!!!!
I definitely don't have my pre-baby tummy back. I weigh less than I did pre-pregnancy (my little one is coming up on 6 months) but my belly is still all extra skin-y. I'd just like to say offering a "Medium" might exclude some mom's who are already a little self conscious about their extra postpartum weight. I'm just saying.
Hi! When I had my first child I gained 15 pounds I was so proud to say that and it took me 2 months to get my bod back and even better..the 2nd time around not so much (45 pounds!) It has now been almost 9 months. still got some to lose and I call the bottem of my stomach the baby butt cheecks i have the line from my last pregnancy still at the bottem and then two side cheeks. I would love to have this to wear all day and during my workout! Woking out and workin hard for my body.
and also a great product out there for moms to be and moms already is this product called mama mio i love and adore there cream called boob tube! get it.
With my son it took probably 4 or 5 months of eating healthy and exercising. Right now I'm only a week postpartum and would love a tummy shaper, lol! I need all the help I can get.
