Surprise for Momma! -He Wasn't Asleep
Guest post by A Little Tipsy
We recently took the wall off of the little one's crib. We did not hear him get up from his nap. He was like a stealth tiger. We found him like this.
He found mommy's make up and nail polish. He is pretty talented if I do say so myself! He got mascara on his lashes without getting it in his eyes! He got red on his cheeks and nose, black on his eyes and bronzer lightly dusted everywhere. He's a natural. Lucky for us, the only polish on the tile was clear! There were a few drops of red on the rug, but was from Walmart and I was toying with replacing it anyway. Nothing permanent on the cabinets, floor or his clothes.
This is halfway through the clean up process when we realized he had painted the inside of his ear. This is when I called poison control just in case. They said we would know if he had swallowed anything because it would burn his mouth and said not to use nail polish remover because it might give him a rash. A bath, Vaseline, a whole bunch of scratching and a day later, he was back to normal.
[Editor's Note: We enjoyed this hilarious story. We would love to hear how your kids have surprised you lately.]
