Cute. It's not like she's wearing stilettos or something. I'd let my daughter wear them for special occasions.
I wouldn't say crazy...more like stupid. She's a child, quit trying to make her all grown up looking and let her be a child. Leave the heels and make up and crap for high school/college. This is why im glad i had a son.
no ...
It's cute. I agree with @filtered_sunlight. If they were taller heels than that, no way!
it's cute.
Its definetly cute and alot of little girls like things like that (At least I did at that age =])
I read somewhere that she chooses to wear them and picks out her own clothes. I think it's cute.
:) cute
Absurd. What the hell is she doing putting her toddler in heels? Is it just me or does that seem like a bad mix? Incompletely developed balance and added height and instability.
For all you diva's out there that wear nothing But high heels, I beg you remember our feet are not supposed to Be that shape, yes it's flattering, but I think it is ridiculous to train a child to abandon comfort and to comform to an older standard at such a younf age. She is a Child! Leave heels for dressup sessions and for when she gets older!
Don't get me wrong, i Love high heels if I weren't six feet tall I would wear them a lot more often then I do. But seriously? Give your child the opportunity to actually Be a child.
I think its cute! As long as its her who chooses to wear them and isn't being forced, I don't see the big deal. She seems happy wearing them!
cuteness!
i think it's cute.. but i also agree with IrresistibleInsomnia@xanga
I don't think it's cute. Not only is it a huge discomfort issue for a child that hasn't finished developing her bone structure yet it also forces her to believe that it's ok to dress beyond her age. She is not a teenager or a young adult. I don't feel that putting toddler girls in outfits that portray them as such is appropriate. Whether or not she picks out what she wants to wear is irrelevant. It takes a parent to step up and act like one. Katie should be telling her daughter it's inappropriate...but alas, whatever sells papers.
They are cute.
I wonder how much they cost? I would have more of a problem with spending so much for them than the style. When I think of all children who have no shoes I think it is sad to spend hundreds or thousands on shoes.
I think it's cute. No need to get all pissed off about it, sheesh. If Suri didn't like them, then I'm sure she told her mother.
It's cute as long as it's not an everyday thing.
My chiropractor has told me that wearing heels all the time can really put a strain on your back. I work in an office environment and I'm expected to dress and look professional everyday. Unfortunately, I'm 1/2 a feet shy of 5 feet and for some reason I can't seem to find pants that match my height. Consequently, I resort to wearing heels. While I think Suri is too young to wear heels, she's a girl and that's what girls like to do. I have a 3 yr. old daughter and she loves to try on my heels on the time. As long as she's not wearing it with every outfit, I'm sure it's OK.
She's a little girl!! I've seen so many posts about this subject. All little girls want to wear heals, and dress up like mommy. It's a natural part of growing up - wanting to be grown up! I think people need to calm down...if they were forcing her to wear them, or if they were higher, it might be a cause for discussion.
cute. it's not l ike she's wearing really tall stilletos every day, they've got a tiny heel and she's dressed up. i hadn't seen any pictures of her lately, wow she is adorable!
So cute! Wonders if it hurts for the kid... :I Don't think so though ^_^
Too young to wear a heel for long hours is not a good move.
Its cute but I wouldn't let my child wear them cause it can mess up your posture/feet. If it wasn't for that it would be cute.
It's cute. Apparently she chooses to wear them and wants to, so I personally don't really see much wrong with it. If I had kids, I might let them wear those - but not all the time.
I think it's ok for kids to wear heels occasionally and to have pairs at home for "dress up", but not as the shoes they wear all the time. I can't imagine it's good for the child's feet.
CUTEEE! It's not like the heels are that high anyway.
