  • TJ Maxx is "Stylin' For School"

    post by supermomcentral

As part of their awesome "Spendervention" campaign this spring/summer, TJ Maxx sent us a $25 gift card and a challenge: See how far it can go for your family. Being the hopeless shopaholic that I am, I gladly accepted, with just a tad of skepticism. I had never been in a TJ Maxx before and had no idea what to expect.

Boy was I in for a fun surprise!

Racks and racks of cute kiddo clothing awaited me. The first thing I did was pull out darling, shabby-chic outfit in Gabby's size and peer at the price tag - $16! I scanned the fabric for flaws but it was perfect. A perfect, absolutely adorable, very high-quality name-brand set. I high-fived the frugal gal inside me and after that, it was like a Toddler-Trend-Treasure Hunt! I got such a kick out of finding hip, designer pieces and being astounded by how inexpensive they were, that I may have gone a little crazy...

    SIX OUTFITS LATER...

That's right peeps. Each of these outfits cost no more than Fifteen Dollars total! For all you brand-lovin' mamas, you're looking at Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Nike, Polo, Quicksilver and Juicy-yes-I-said-JUICY Couture (the black top in the center which was ten bucks, baby!).

As if that weren't enough, the find of the day was a darling matching Nike top and bottom - each piece priced at $5 so the entire outfit was $10! Gabby was just as psyched as I was (but for different reasons - I loved the savings, she loved the color).

The $25 gift card bought both Jude and Gabby brand new outfits for the Fall, but it did much more than that. It proved to me that fun fashions at killer prices were just down the street, all along.

And now I want to prove the same to you! I've got a $25 TJ Maxx giftcard up for grabs - go here to find out how to win it!
