Are you closer to your mother or your father? Why? Who are your children closer to? You or their father?

My mother. My mother was the one who took care of me my whole life. My father took off when I was young and was not the person who was there for me taking care of me...after the age of 11 I didn't even see him or hear from him again until I was over 20 and then I was the one who got in contact with him. You can't be close to someone you don't even know.

Mommy, my dad and I disagree on everything.
mom, dad worked most of the time. same with the kids. i stay home and hubby works, so they're obviously closer to me.
I'm closer to my mom only because my dad is dead.
Well, I'm pretty close to both of my parents but I'm definitely closer to my Mom (which I think it just natural). My 1 yr old daughter is closer to me since I'm the one who's with her 24-7!

It may be natural to be closer to you mom, I guess, but I'm not. And the term daddy's girl didn't come from thin air. I'm not really especially close to either of my parents. They're too close for me to even try to fit in. =/

And the weird part is, out of her three girls, I was the least like her at first!
My parents split when I was six, and even though my dad had twice-weekly visitation and we never lived more than 30 miles from him, living with my mother somehow made us closer. I did live with my dad briefly in both 7th and 11th grades, but by then he was pretty out of the habit with parenting so we still weren't very close and I moved back with my mom both times.My mom, i have to. I don't have a dad.
Defently my Mom, me and my Dad dont get along well.
My dad, I'm much more like him. We get along, like a lot of the same things, he's there for me no matter what. My mom and I are okay, we just don't get along all the time. She yells over nothing, usually because she's mad at someone from work and takes it out on everyone else. I hate being yelled at, it only makes me angry and I hold grudges.

I was raised primarily by my mom, but for quite a while, when ever my dad came into the picture she was seen as a hell demon and I just wanted to be around him.
I am closer to my mom. And, always have been.
