Hot or Not? - Brand Name Baby Shampoo
A friend of mine goes to her own hair stylist who recommended she use Paul Mitchell's Baby Don't Cry Shampoo brand for her baby. This shampoo costs about 10 bucks a bottle. I want to ask the mothers out there. Would you spend money on a brand name shampoo or is Johnson and Johnson's enough?

Umm. Wow. I think Johnson & Johnsons is enough.
LOL. I love Johnson's & Johnson's Baby Shampoo.
It worked fine for me when I was younger, don't see why any baby would need a brand name shampoo if they can save money and buy something of the same quality, if not better.
my son was allergic to J&J as well as the Paul Mitchelle stuff (it was a gift and I was excited until he got a rash from it). The shampoo I use on my son is much more than $10, but under normal circumstances I wouldn't even buy Johnson and Johnson when the store brand is just as good.
I use it for my son. But my cousin owns a salon, so I only have to pay half price which makes it around the same price as Johnson and Johnson. I'm sure I'd still use it even if I did have to pay full price.
But for everything else - lotion, baby powder, baby oil, etc - I use Johnson and Johnson =]
I use burts bees baby shampoo for my son. It is about $10.00 a bottle, however, he breaks out with Johnson and Johnson. So it is not a "oh I will not use name brand" thing, it is just.. He does not do well with the name brand stuff.
I like California Baby shampoo :)
J&J is good. Most of the time, as with fashion, you're only paying for a name.
I wouldnt buy name brand shampoo for my kids, but thats just my personal choice.
i like using california baby since it doesn't have a lot of the chemicals that may be harmful to your baby.
here's the link, you can search your brand of product and see all the chemicals that are harmful.

Mmm, Huggies made a 'Sweet Pea' scent that I love for around $3 a bottle. Honestly? Megan has chick-fuzz. Why would she need some fancy bottle of shampoo??
Johnson's and Johnson's caused a rash on my daughter. I used the lavender Baby Magic on her.
if i was going to use a brand name baby shampoo it would have to be all natural/all organic/etc. otherwise i'm sure there are natural mixtures you can use from your pantry. also, with little little babies, do you really even need shampoo? most of them don't have much hair, right?
I love J&J! I know people that use Arbonne baby shampoo for little ones that are allergic to other things but it is expensive and does not give you that fresh from the hospital baby smell we all love !
Johnson's & Johnson's is loaded with chemicals! If you're going to try something $10 a bottle try an all-natural, chemical free shampoo that is TRULY harmless. I use Nature's Baby Organics on my son in the in the Vanilla-Tangerine scent. The shampoo also doubles as a body wash!!

I just use Huggies Head & Body Baby wash, right now we have the Lavender and the Shea Butter.
I am allergic to J&J and I don't like their products.
We just bought the Paul Mitchell Baby Don't Cry shampoo for our 18 month old son but we used Johnson & Johnson up until now. We are only switching to the other stuff because he has dandruff and the hair stylist recommended this one to help alleviate that problem. It only costs us $7.50 for a giant bottle, so not a bad price at all!
