I like Banana Boat Baby or Kids.  They seem to be the same thing but with different name and packaging.  I like that it's thicker and my daughter won't burn through it quite as fast as she does with Water Babies.

Neutrogena Pure and Free....it doesn't have that harsh chemical in it that affects children's hormones.

My son is five, and we have been spending a lot of time by the pool this summer.  The sun in Southern Louisiana can be brutal, and I swear by Equate (the Wal-mart brand) spray sunscreen for children.  It goes on easy and does a great job keeping him from getting burned.

California Baby is what I use for my 10 month old. The stick is annoying, because she tries to eat it, but I trust it, because it isn't made with harsh chemicals.

I like Neutrogena Waterguard Kids.  Its waterproof, spray-on and SPF 70+.  Great for my VERY pale daughter for whom SPF 50 isn't even enough.  No greasiness or smearing either.

Neutrogena or No-Ad (the latter being cheap and very good even for sensitive skin prone to break-outs and irritation).

Burt's Bee's.  It's made of one ingrediant: titanium dioxide, and doesn't have the chemicals that are easily absorbed by the skin and therefore secreted into the babies liver.  Neutrogena Sensitive Skin is also very similarly formulated with one additional thing (titanium dioxide and zinc oxide) but both aren't absorbed by the skin.

Children's skin is very senseitive, so one should take care when selecting suncreens for them. Titanium dioxide, avobenzone, mexoryl, Zinc oxide has proved effective to protect from UVA rays. Also one must see that harmful chemicals are not included in sunscreen. For more details on children sunscreen, refer Children sunscreens
