I'm always on the hunt for small tips that make a BIG impact - on my family, my budget, and my environment. But as much as I love Mother Earth, the practical gal in me (who pays the bills and folds the laundry) needs a healthy does of "good sense" behind any efforts to Go Green. So when
"The Lazy Environmentalist On a Budget" by Josh Dorfman promises on it's cover to "Save Money. Save Time. Save the Planet." I'm immediately enticed.
Truth be told, it's all great advice! But chapter 9, "Better For Baby: Green Gear For the Small Set" should be given to
every new mama everywhere (maybe they could include it in those free diaper bags you get a the hospital!). This is a comprehensive, yet no-nonsense approach to acquiring all you need for your little ones, in an inexpensive and eco-friendly way. The author naturally educates you on safety issues and environmentally responsible companies, while providing reviews and price quotes that pleasantly surprise even the cheapest parents (my husband can attest to this!).
