I'm only nearly 10 weeks along and I'm already having the weird pregnancy/birthing dreams.
Last night I had a dream that I had my baby at 10 weeks gestation and that he came out mostly normal, but I had to get him a checkup to see if he was ok. The problem was I couldn't find a doctor and people kept telling me the nearest doctor was in the next town.
I had to hop over fences and swim through rivers with my baby in my arms just to get there and find out he had moved his office onto an island!!!!
So on my way to the island I lost my kid, who had shrunk for some reason and I was frantically looking for him in all the cracks and crevices. I woke up around 4am feeling very sad that I couldn't find my baby (it was a boy, btw).
I remember having some pretty wacky dreams the last two times around, but this was by far the weirdest.
Did any of you mommies out there have any weird dreams while you were pregnant?

I had a lot of weird dreams, especially scary ones. I see the Ring girl taking my baby away and I always try to find ways to hide from her. Sometimes I dream that she appeared in front of my bedroom window and there was another dream that she was knocking on my door. I don't know what it is when your pregnant you'll get more wilder and weirder dreams.
Im 7 weeks pregnant and I just had a dream that I had my baby at 13 weeks and he was completely fine. Even appeared to be a normal healthy size. The people in my dream were telling me that the dr.'s had miscalculated how far along I was and everything was going to be okay. thats just one of them. But ive had some weirder ones.
lol! I've never been pregnant, so I couldn't say, but my momma tells me that she had the oddest pregnancy dreams. ^_^
I am definitely having pregnancy dreams and I am just barely pregnant. I had them with my daughter too, in fact I dreamed her name! I am kind of counting on that happening with this one again cause I have a hard time figuring out good names.
I had a dream that I had a talking baby boy!
i always had dreams that my son could walk and talk when he was born, or that he was a monster or alien. they were all pretty weird.
I had dreams about loosing the baby early on. But I had a dream that in the hospital (I think) my daughter got up and walked around and talked and changed her own diaper...man if only...lol. I know I had more strange ones but I can't remember details on them now.
when i wasn't too far along, i had a dream that i saw a baby being breastfed. and i thought it was sweet and cute and all that. and then i looked more closely at the baby's face, and it seemed dark and not cute at all. and then it licked its lips with an abnormally long, pointed tongue and grinned at me with sharp looking teeth. i moved around to the front of the mother and saw that the baby had eaten the entire right side of her. including her face.
i woke up and didn't move for about half an hour. it was terrifying.
i haven't had any really weird, creepy dreams like that since then, but i did have a dream about a week ago that i had already had my baby and my mom brought him to see me at work. and then was holding a match or something and set him on fire (also strange, since i'm having a girl). i yelled at mom and told her she couldn't hold the baby anymore cause it was the third time she had set him on fire. he was unharmed. it was odd...
I dream every night. I never noticed that they got weirder when I was pregnant, they just became more baby related.
@kleptos_get_it_free@xanga - that first dream was terrible, I definitely wouldn't have minded not hearing that one! I hope you soon stopped having such bad dreams!
I have a couple worried dreams, but I know I will be a great mom to my child.
@JadaFish@xanga - i know! i was horrified!! but i haven't had one that bad since, thankfully.
I have weird dreams all the time! Mine are always vivid and life like. I can't say they got weirder when pregnant because mine are always weird. Had one that I was drinving the car naked. Another that I was being attacked by hampters. And one that my baby was born in a sausage casing!! All very weird!!
My BFF is pregnant and she is having some pretty vivid or odd dreams. She had a VERY vivid dream the other night about Johnny Depp. And then she had a dream that I was gutting fish, which is something I would NEVER EVER do!

I have never been pregnant, but I have this semi-recurring dream where I am pregnant but my body somehow doesn't change, even though I am mentally preparing to be a mother in the dream and trying to get used to the idea. And I just never have the baby. I just know in my head I'm pregnant but absolutely nothing happens to confirm it....I wonder if that has something to do with the fact that I associate pregnancy and creativity in my mind and I am composing music for two albums atm and I sometimes feel as if I am not making as much progress as I would like
I have never been pregnant, but anytime I dream that I am, when I wake up, I feel sad that it was only a dream. I feel sad that there is no baby, even though at this time in my life I don't really want one anyways...but it's such a strange feeling.
I have had weird dreams all my life, but they got a tad weirder when I got pregnant.
