My Son Destroyed My Hair Dryer!
(Photo of Hair Dryer Destroyer below)
So Saturday morning it was just him & I at the house and we were trying to get ready to meet some friends to do some shopping. He needed a bath and so did I and it's much easier to bathe him in the shower with me when it's just the two of us. So while I was waiting for the water to warm up, he was standing on the sink counter playing in the mirror.
Well I took his diaper off (yes I know...DUMB) and let him stand there. The next thing I notice is what I think is water on the sink... upon further inspection I found out it was pee. I laughed and said "Well that was momma's mistake huh?" To which I got a big four toothed grin.
So in the shower we go. After getting out and getting him dried off and diapered and me dressed I took him in to the bathroom and put him in his exersaucer to play while I dried my hair. (Which is not his favorite thing anymore...he hates sitting in that thing because he's trying so desperately to walk and has to be free and mobile) Anyway, as I pick up the hair dryer to plug it in I see pee come running out of the end!! I stood there not exactly sure what to think...then I started laughing and looked at my sweet irritated boy and said "Well that's one way to get me a new hairdryer!!"
Yes...this cute little 9 1/2 month old boy is a hairdryer destroyer! Hard to believe that someone this cute & innocent could be so destructive!!

Being a mom really is the best!
Has your children destroyed any of your things?

Lol!!!! I have 4 kids can you just imagine how many things my kids have destroyed that belong to me!!!!
Haaa!
With my three boys, I lost track of things that have been broken, drawn on, thrown away (I have over zealous helpers...) or lost.Â
Awww that is so cute! I heard when I was little I sprayed water all over my parents new Sony TV! Thankfully is wasn't ruined like your hairdryer, but they had to unplug it to get it working again!
Never let your babies chew on your cell phone. Apparently that can cause water damage. One way to get a new phone.
lol, too funny!
Wow! Your baby is so adorable! But, yes, children can and will find a way to break things!
LOL he's cute yah
my mum & aunty lit the curtains on fire when playing with matches, and blackened half the roof.
hmm, well, they were nine and eleven.
& got into deep deeeep trouble, obviously.
ahh, i miss my mum.
Boyee.. Where do I start? I will just tell you one HORRIBLE story! LOL Anyway, my 2nd kid Dominic would ALWAYS play with the water sprayer from the sink and spray it all over the room, we've had to discipline him and clean up the water mess over and over but one time he did it WORSE!! He sprayed it on back of the electric stove!! We freaked out and unplugged the stove for like over 24 hours and plugged it in, it worked fine. Well, well well he did it AGAIN!! Sprayed water on the back of the electric stove so we disconnected the stove again like the last time and let it dry up. Unfortunately my brother in law didn't know what was going on and PLUGGED the stove back into the socket and it let out a HUGE EXPLOSION!! Water and electricity do not mix!! Needless to say, it FRIED the socket/wiring and the stove's wiring system. We had to replace the whole wiring (luckily my husband is a handyman, it cost us just around $200 as opposed to HIRING an actual handyman to do the job which would've cost much more than that) and now everything works again. My son now knows NOT to play with water again, believe me, we were FRUSTRATED!!! *groans* LOL
I wouldn't put him in the sink anymore!
thats cute!
Oh my god, thats soooo cute, i cant wait till i have kids even tho im 18, goin on 19...
