by Momaroo TeamWho doesn't remember the classic game of hide and seek? Did you play it as a child? Do you see children playing it to this day?

Once in a while, yes..... but... the post reminded me of the Imogen Heap song. @_@;;
child game ....
i was always 'it'
not fair!
I remember it all too well.
I remember it. Haven't played it in a long time, but I played Tag and Hot Potato with a little girl on Saturday evening.
the fat guy is always it >.> Q_Q yes me
I played it all the time. And variations of it. Remember "sardines"?
I don't see kids playing much of anything anymore... most of the kids I see just run around like chickens with their heads cut off while screaming.
I remember and my children still play...the adult children will play with their 7 year old brother. When my youngest was around 2 or 3 he used to lay on the floor and we would tell him he had to run and hide...he would say "I am! I'm blending in, I'm blending in!" soo funny....his siblings would try not to laugh and pretend they couldn't see him! so fun to watch!
I play with my daughters frequently. My two year old will say "mommy, I'm going to hide x, don't look there" :)
My kids play it all the time :D
I'd still play it if I had enough people, and I'm 21. lol. But, too bad I'm not a tiny 8 year old anymore. So I can't hide in cool places like the dryer or in cupboards. ...Well I could try the cupboards I think.
hmm... how does that game go again... I must've forgotten...
hehe, i remember it. i'll be eighteen in exactly a month and i still play hide and seek. we added a twist though -- we only do it at lock-ins at my church, and we play at night with all the lights off using lightsabers as our only light sources. haha.
OMG YES!!! i have a baby sister, and a 7 yr sister also. so we play hide and seek ALOT.
Yes! Even my little new york girl plays it -- but inside or at central park!
I don't remember playing it but I must have. Now that I think of it I have vague memories... Interesting to think of. I don't know why but I remember "Hot Potato" with a red plastic wind up potato that you had to throw around and not be the one holding it when the alarm rang.
Oh god I hated hide n seek!! I would always get scared if I was found, and if I was looking, I was afraid someone would jump out at me.
I hated hide and seek.
I looved that game. Except when we played in the dark, because my older brother would jump out and scare me :(
When we moved into our new house about 3 years ago, we played it because our house has a lot of sort of "secret" passages and spots and hiding places, and I crammed myself into a tiny cabinet and they never ended up finding me XD
I love hide and seek. I remember playing it as a kid with my friends all the time.

Hide and seek was our favourite game in the neighbourhood as I grew up as a kid <3 It was Great!
@LadyLibellule@xanga - Sardines! yes! That was fun, but it stank when people kept dissapearing on you and you were frantically trying to find them so you weren't the last one left! :)
We had so much fun playing games like this as kids! We also played "Kick the Can" "Prisoner's Base" "Freeze Tag" (not to mention "Indian Tag" and "Ice Cream Tag") "Peek around the Corner" "Piggy wants a motion" and I'm sure there's more! When my kids are old enough, I'll make sure they learn these games (can't have them miss out on the fun!). My little cousins still play them.
Oh yeah... "Capture the Flag".... "Steal the Bacon"...."Ghost in the Graveyard"......"Wolf comes out at Midnight" wow, this is bringing back good memories!
