I have time to exercise, but I choose to do other things! I used to exercise and shoul djump back into the groove!
Well, It is easy to squeeze Dance Dance Revolution into the day.
That is how I get some exercise.
Absolutely! It is a priority for me. After I drop the big kids off at school I always walk or jog, I have a walk buddy so we arent bored. We go rain or shine. It is a huge difference in my day, If I cant go because of some crazy reason my whole day I feel tired and out of it. Those 2 miles make a huge difference in my sanity. Its so funny because when I pick the kids up if I didnt get to go the little ones warn the bigger guys "my is grouchy she didnt walk today" haha
My gym has a childcare facility that's free. One of my best friends works there so my girls see a familiar face that they love, they get to interact with kids from six weeks old to twelve years old, and it's just a fun, safe place for them to be for two hours a day while I work my butt off (literally!) at the gym!
And it's actually a HUGE motivator for me because my oldest daughter will ask to go play with the kids at the gym, so if I say no from being lazy, I feel bad that I'm not only missing my workout but also making her miss playing with other children.
So yes, even though I have a three year old and an 18 month old, I still work out two hours a day, five to seven days a week.
no .
Three words...
30 Day Shred
BEST workout EVER! So effective, and only 20 minutes (well 25 including stretching)
Jillian Michaels rocks!
Well, I have an advantage since I work at a Lifetime Fitness, so I put that free platinum membership to good use! Not only do I get a membership, but I can also utilize time well by showing up early to work, having a workout, showering (pop into the salon and blow my hair out) and then start my workday... honestly, if i weren't working there, I can't say i would make time otherwise... its hard.
But hubby and I made a new agreement in recent months. It involves each of us having "self-care" times. One of my workout classes is part of my "self-care" time.
I have to make time.If I don't I won't get healthy.
there is a ton of time for working out when you have kids. going on walks. running around at the park. swimming.
I have plenty of time to do it, I just never feel like it.
I really need to change that.
Sadly, I don't find the time as much as I should. I love to work out but I'm hypoglycemic and still trying to figure out how to workout without the sugar crash. I could make the time for the workout, but not the two hour recovery that comes with it... Still working on it though. I WILL be healthy soon!
at least twice a week, three if it's a good week. and rarely, 4x/wk, but it's been done. and i count a work out where i'm not interrupted for at least 30 min by one of the kids. (i have a 2yo and a 7mo.)
