Yes - I went with a bunch of my girlfriends my senior year of hs and had a blast.

Twice. Once with friends and once with a date. It was lame both times. The post prom party the school hosted ended up being way more fun than the prom itself.
Yea I went to my prom. I'm not really a dance type of person but all through highschool I promised myself that I had to go to prom.
It was kind of fun but my boyfriend at the time was such a shitter. He didn't want to dance so I stayed with him for about 30 minutes before going to the floor and dancing with my friends. He got angry that I was dancing without him so I went back to the table. At the table he grumbled about how bored he was and that we should just leave. I was having fun so I finally kind of pushed him to dance with me. He got up and danced for a minute but then sat back down when he said he looked stupid. He ended up making me cry that night because he was being such a douche to me and my friends.
my prom was yesterday i didn't go i wish i gone
i went and it was fun but i really couldn't see the big commotion about it.
Never went. My children are all to old or young to have gone this year, but they did go when they were in high school.
I went to junior and senior prom...and then to my sister's senior prom when my husband was my boyfriend at the time. haha We were like 20 years old.
And then I saw a bunch of people from my class there. My daughters are under 3 so no they did not go to prom this year.

Yes, I went to my prom - but just with a large group of friends. It really wasn't all that exciting and I don't know if I would do it again had I the chance. The post prom party (at a bowling alley) was definitely more fun.
My oldest is 9 so I have a few years before worrying about any of my boys going to prom.
At my high school the juniors hosted and worked the prom for the seniors, so one year (my junior year) I worked the prom and the next year (my senior year) I actually went to the prom with a date and some friends. I had more fun at prom when I worked the prom, but I am still glad I went both years, it was a good experience.
I didn't go to either of my proms. My school didn't let you go stag then, and I didn't have a date so...no prom for me! I'm glad I didn't go, though. It was way too expensive--$75 a ticket, and that's not including post-prom!--and I heard after both dances that the food/dining banquet/DJ were sort of crappy. I did go to plenty of other school dances, though.
@MangoWOW@xanga - sounds like my senior prom. I had the same date both years, but by senior year he was way more controlling of everything I did that he made sure I was miserable.
I went to another school's prom this year instead of mine. It was horrible! My date couldn't dance at all, and he spent most of the time sitting alone. He also called me a 'dancefloor whore' by the end of the night :(
yes, i went to my senior prom with my date whom is now a father of my 2 kids! well, 1 kid now, soon to be 2...

I went to all my proms.. my 8th grade, and both my junior and senior proms.. I also went to ex- boyfriend's proms. I alot of fun at all my proms!! :)
I went to my junior prom a little over a month ago with my boyfrien of two years and four months. It was wonderful. I almost didn't go, so I'm really glad I did.
I went to my prom early when I was 16 that was ages ago.
