Are You a Traveling Mom?
Are you making big travel plans for Memorial Day Weekend? I'd love to hear what they are!
I'm itching to get out and explore some place new with my kiddos. I haven't nailed down exactly what we're up to, but you can bet, with three little ones in tow, we'll have ourselves an adventure! And when we get back, I'll be sharing all the highs and lows over at my favorite family travel site, TravelingMom.com!
I've been a part of TravelingMom.com for the past few months and love the amazing group of women there sharing their knowlege and wisdom! Traveling as a Mom is full of trials and triumphs but in the end, it's totally worth it. The experiences your children have as they see the wide world are unique, priceless and truly precious. And the things I've learned while traveling with my family (both as a child and as a mother) have formed much of who I am today.
Recently I've been working on a series with TravelingMom.com called "Traveling By Trimester"! I found myself unexpectedly expecting during our last few months living in Europe (see the pic above) and learned the hard way many of the Do's and Dont's of traveling while pregnant. I've shared my miserable, yet hilarious experiences in these two articles:Traveling By Trimester - Puking All Over Europe, Part 1 (Switzerland)
Traveling By Trimester - Puking All Over Europe, Part 2 (Rome)
Please check out my articles and let me know what you think! I'd love to hear about your experiences traveling preggo or with kiddos – feel free to share them in the article comments!

I traveled to California to visit my husband's family during my first trimester, and I was miserable.
We had a cruise vacations last year and all of us have fun. We don't have any problem about getting dizzy maybe because the climate is good.
Our son is only 5 months old, so we really haven't got the chance to travel with him yet. Unfortunately, even though both of us enjoy traveling (we both did some overseas trips during our single years), we will not be able to do much of that with our son, or any future children. We are in agriculture so things will probably always be tight. The extent of our traveling will be driving 1,100 and 1,700 miles to see family. And those semi-annual (maybe more, if we're lucky) trips will quickly eat up any extra money we have.
yes by car only
