    I am the oldest of 10- 7 girls and 3 boys. My husband is the oldest of 9- 8 boys and 1 girl. We have one son and hope to have at least 5 total, maybe more.

    I'm the Oldest for 4 girls. Everyone feels bad for my Dad lol but I don't think he'd have it any other way!

    I plan on just 2 kids mostly because of money. All awesome discount vacations are for families of 4 and my family had 6 people so we didn't go places very much. If I feel after 2 that I would like more then I guess I can't deny my family that!

    I should have one baby, a little boy but he didn't make it to birth. His 2nd Birthday would of been around this time!

    I am the seventh child in my family. I had only one brother to deal with out of the siblings I grew up with. Luckily for him, we always had two bathrooms in the house we grow up in LOL. I have already raised my two kids so my kid quota is finished. My boyfriend wanted to have a child with me but now realizes my health and my age presents too many risk factors for that to happen. :( plus after my second child was born with a heart defect I was scared into getting a tubular tie surgery done and it has been nearly 15 years since then. (makes the baby thought very difficult and pretty no thanks). but I love being a new Grandma.

    Second oldest of Eight girls (yes, all girls)...And we grew up with one bathroom!


    My husband and I have one daughter. I think 5 is a reasonable number, he thinks 2 is. So I guess we shall see how many we have.

    I'm the youngest of eight: Three half sisters, two step sisters, one step brother, and one sister. I like to joke around that I'm going to have at least 10, but I highly doubt that. I'll probably have around five.

    counting myself there were two children in my family- same with my husband.  Ideally I would like four children so that we have a big family later on in life, but my husband wants to stop if our next child is a girl (we already have a boy).  I want at least 3!

    I have a brother and a sister.  I hope to have 2 or 3.  So far, we have one.  I hope the other two come by adoption.

    In my immediate family my mom is up to 4 kids. She just had my step brother over a year ago. I think 4 kids is past our limit but considering it's only my step dads first kid I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted more.

    I am the second of 4...big sister, me, little brother, and baby sister (okay...we are all in our 20s now...but still think of them as little and babies...)

    I used to think 4 was a good number...but that would have been if I had gotten started earlier...

    my husband and I have been married almost 4 years (in August 09) and have no children and no plans for children in the immediate future...

    We live in Germany, because of my husband's job in the Air Force....and I really would like to get another less stressful job before I have any children...cause I work with elementary school children, and that's just some stress that I would never want while pregnant...

    I now think that 2 or 3 is a good number...although, I would be happy with one...till I get that "baby bug" again and want another one...

    I was an only child. There are only a couple of people in my family who only had one child. Most of my family members had 2+ children. I think I want at least two. It depends on when I have the first, how life goes, you know. Two for sure, if nature allows it.

    I grew up with two brothers and a sister and I have another half-brother.  But I rarely ever saw him so I usually consider my family one of 4 kids.


    I have two kids.  We're still discussing whether we will have a third.  :)

    It was just me for eight years, then I was blessed with a little brother when my mother married. I have a lot of other half siblings from my dad's side too, though I've never met them.

    I want a huge family, seven or eight children would be brilliant.

    My older brother and I, so two.
    There's still a LONG time before I have my kids of my own, but I want one.. maximum two. &I'd want a boy born first, and then a girl, so the boy could be a big older brother for the little girl & take care of her kinda like how my older bro took care of me =P

     my grandparents REALLY wanted a baby boy...they ended up with 8 girls. 
    So my mom has 7 sisters.  I have 1 sister.

    I just want one kid.  I don't think I could handle more than one :P

    My husband and I both come from families with 3 kids.  We have 2, I don't think we'll be done anytime soon.  He half jokes "cheaper by the dozen" but I think I'll put my limit at 6.  I'd like to be finished before I hit 33 (years, not kids).  We started young, so we've got time.

    @noree_n@xanga - My sister believes you shouldn't have more children than arms inorder to maintain sanity.  LOL!
