My Son Learns to Self Discipline
by Mama Fox The Mama discovered a locked bedroom door with a couple of children behind it. They unlock it and come out.
Mama: Who locked this door?
5 year old: T did!
Mama: Did you lock this door?
3 year old: No.
Mama: Why is H saying you did?
3 year old: Because.... I want to go to time out.
Mama: Go then.
He fessed up after his 3 minute timeout. I thought it was cute that he knew he was in trouble and basically put himself in time out for it. Still working on the lying. He likes to tell us what he wants to be true, age appropriate but still irritating. He's cuteness over rode it ... this time.Do your children know when they're in trouble? Do they know what kind of punishment they'll receive?

They know.... but they don't accept it the way your son did. LOL
My daughter knows if she lies or acts up she is going to be on punishment for a day with no tv or no playing with anything. Her favorite things to do after school and after her homework is go and watch tv and when she isnt able to its the end of the world for her so yeah she knows whats coming if she gets out of line but she doesnt accept it like ur son does lol.
Heh, that was a totally cute way of him handling it though. I'm sure he'll be out of that stage soon,

thats so cute.
good parenting!
Definitely cute! I used to do that too when I was a kid.
Sean can tell when he gets in trouble because of my voice. He runs from me... because he doesn't want to get in trouble. I am hoping this'll change soon enough.
