My baby brother never seems to have had a problem sleeping through the night. By a month he was able to do it.
My son is 19 months old, and he still will wake up sometimes during the night.
My daughter - 5 1/2 months. My son is almost 6 months old and was doing good until he caught a cold. I'm guess it won't be too long now.
My daughter finally started to sleep through the night, 5 out of 7 when she was 21 months old. It is getting better all the time, and she just turned two on Thursday. I should mention that she suffers from sleep terrors and has difficulty falling asleep. Our pediatrician thinks she has a mild sleep disorder (in addition to the night terrors).
My son was 3 years old. Yes, age three. He is 8 years old now and sleeps great. My daughter, who is almost three years old, wakes up at least once a night. If she didn't have legitimate issues, I'd ignore her but it has either been her severe eczema waking her up or a cold.
My son is 7 1/2 months old, and he wakes up at least twice to nurse, sometimes more. Lately, he's been getting up four, even five times, because of teething pain.
is this your babby
my son is almost 6 weeks and sleeps about 5 hrs at a shot. i nurse him at 10 or 11 and he sleeps around 5-6 hrs after that. hopefully before long it'll get even better. alot of times when he starts to grumble and act like he might wake up i just give him his pacifier and settle him back down so that he learns to keep sleeping and not to wake up to eat so much.
My first daughter took to sleeping like a PRO! She just loved to sleep through the night from about 3 weeks after she was born.
My second daughter - COMPLETE opposite! She is only now (at 21 months) beginning to sleep through the night for more than a few nights in a row at a time). She has always been a very light, very short sleeper.
Mommy's TIRED!
at a little over a week old!! seriously! she wasn't a good napper though, until she hit 4 months.
4 weeks old- and he was only up once a night from about 2 weeks old. Yeah, it's awesome! Maybe it's just my baby, but I still have to say, "'Thank-you, Babywise!"
My daughter slept through the night at around 3 months but my son didn't sleep throught the night EVER until he was almost a year old. He's 20 months now and still wakes up sometimes during the night!
Both mine started sleeping through the night at about 2 months. My son used to lose his paci and wake up during the night but he'd go right back to sleep when he got his paci back in his mouth. My daughter just turned 2 (yesterday :)) and she NEVER wakes up at night unless she's sick or getting sick.
I can't really remember with the older two, although I have it written down in their baby books. My youngest just turned 2 and still does not sleep though the night!
2ish months, 9 months and my youngest stills wakes up a couple of times at 17 months. It's getting better though.
My first born started sleeping through most of the night since the day he came home from the hospital.
My 2nd born started sleeping through the night at around 4 to 5 months old.
My last child started sleeping through the night at 14 to 15 months old! So I feel bad for those who are still awake after their child is older than 15 months old.
Around 6 weeks for my daughter ("through the night" meaning 6 to 7 hour stretches) and now she sleeps about 10 to 12 hours a night (she's 17 months). My son is 5 weeks old and he's still waking up about every 3 hours, but sometimes he sleeps 4 and 5 hours stretches. (Getting him to GO to sleep is the main problem.)
both of mine around 4ish months.
He was sleeping 5-6 hours stretches at night at 3 weeks.
He started sleeping 12 hour nights (8 PM to 8 AM) at 4 months.
Love it!
my little man is now 19 months today and he has been sleeping through the night since he came to our home at 6 months.I don't think he has been up at night more then 10 times in the last year.
Bed time is 7:30, he is almost always asleep by 8, sleeps 'till between 8 and 10 the next morning and naps from 1-3ish in the afternoon.
I'm spoiled. LOL
