    Yeah....my brother and I are twenty months apart and we have been best buds since around 8th/9th grade. We're both married  and live in separate states but we still talk on the phone a couple of times a week and still have the same ridiculous politically incorrect sense of humor.

    My husband and him are really close and I'm close to my brother's wife so, it's just wonderful to have the family bond!

    I am pretty close to my brother.  I hated him when we were little, but no one else could pick on him.  He was my little brother and I could treat him however I wanted to treat him, but I'd kick your butt if you tried the same thing.

    There is 10 years between myself and brother, i was like an only child for ages then became an instant baby sitter. i felt like his mother as i was left to mind him a lot of the time. Motherhood has come easy to me because of it. I even wrote his sick notes from school when he was bunking off and took him in when he wasnt getting on with our folks at home. He is the goldenchild now and can do no wrong in my parents eyes

    There are nine of us and my parents are both dead. My brothers pretty much raised me with occasional help from my sisters. We are really close siblings. Some say we are too close. We share everything. Our lives are so entangled together that I don't think they can ever be completely seperated, and we don't want them to be seperated.......... ~Echo

    I have an older brother younger sister... and there were time periods when we really did not talk and pretty much stayed out of each others lives... but now we get along pretty well and enjoy being around each other.

    I am not very close with my siblings.  Things have been better between my brothers and me since we've had children but we still don't call each other and talk all the time or anything.  It's really more my SIL's that I talk to..

    I think my children will be very close.  I have a boy (4) and a girl (2) and the boy is developmentally delayed.  Since they are so close in age and then factoring in the delay in my son, they are almost like twins.  My daughter has helped push my son further and further and because of that, they share a bond that I've never seen before.  I love it.

    I have siblings that I don't talk to now that we are adults, I don't even claim them. Of the ones that I do talk to we are close but not super close, one I have a love/hate relationship with and did everything I could growing up to be nothing like her. Another is like a second mom to me, so yeah we have issues but nothing bad.

    I am not as close as I would like to be with my siblings for 2 reasons...

    1. 3 of the 4 I only saw 2 weeks out of the year since they were my dad's kids with his 2nd wife so I never saw them due to my crap @$$ relationship with my father...

    and...

    2. i was 7 when the first was born and 13 when the last 2 were...and since I never saw the first 3...i was technically an only child until 13...so not as close as i'd like...

    my kids on the other hand...

    are close in age (5,3,2) and are very close....sometimes to close...they may be young but they have already learned the art of covering for each other...lol

    my brother and I are 6 years apart, so by the time he grew out of the bratty-break-everything-and-get-me-in-trouble stage (late middle school/early high school), I had been out of the house (and out of the state) for years.  now he's in college and I'm living adult life, so we're still not close.  we definitely don't not like each other, but we don't talk very often.  if I ever have kids, I want them to be close in age.

    I'm not necessarily close, but we don't shun each other either. I mean, I don't feel comfortable telling them everything and we tend to keep our social lives separate. With my sister I'm good. We've gotten along really well in the past couple years and its easier to hang out and talk now.
    My brother is pretty cool and awesome but I've never been buddy buddy with him. But he's a funny guy when I do talk to him.

    I only have one older brother, and we are definitely close.  We played together as kids a decent bit, though not all the time.  Even in high school we hung out together because we shared some of the same friends.  He is three years older than me.  Now he lives 9 hours away, but I still text him alot and talk on the phone about once a week. I am trying to get him to move closer so I can see my nieces and nephew more often!

    We're close. I just have 1 right now, but the 2nd one is on the way. I hope they will be good friends with each other.

    I have an older brother and a younger brother. My younger brother has always been the white sheep in our black sheep family. 3.7 GPA, never gotten a ticket, never skipped a day of school... the most trouble he ever got in was when he would forget to do the dishes when it was his turn.


    My older brother and I, on the other hand, fit in with my black sheep family perfectly. So my older brother and I have always been pretty close.
    My younger brother was always more of a loner. Any time we'd try to get him to hang out with us he'd just make up an excuse and leave. l0l. I can't say I blame him.
    But now that we're all older we get along great and are closer than most siblings, I'd say.
    And I only have one child, so I can't say if she'll be close to her siblings.

    I'm close to my sis because we used to share bedrooms and stay up all night talking.  She's moved to the metrop and is working FT.  Now we speak about once a week.

    Took me a while to get here, but yeah.. Me and my siblings have been pretty close for the past couple of years. Yayyy. :)

    Definitely close.  When we fight it gets really bad, like cats and dogs i suppose, but no one can mess with my little bro and he doesn't let anyone mess with me.
